@Averageaspirant Way easier than last year. Last time Ethics ke paper ke baad everyone was literally in shock. This year the paper was not at all lengthy.

dramaturgical wala I remembered the goffman's name, rest linked it with drama like script writing practicing and performing like a stage play. Reference grp seemed to be bouncer, still linked with sanskritisation and role modelling for actors etc

Application walo me sochna pad raha tha to time ki thodi BT rahi, my fingers too started shivering by that time. Kuch khaas expect karke gaya nhi tha paper me, to us hisaab se thik ho gaya

@Davidjones Mere saamne jo baitha tha vo aadhe se zyada paper chhod kar aaya tha ~250 in both papers.

@Davidjones Wave question was pretty standard - initial position and velocity (non-zero) was given. Why do you think it's different?
@tedmosby I'm having similar thoughts of changing the optional because as of now it has become a huge gamble which can either play out extremely well or fail spectacularly. From this year's paper, it's clear that UPSC has no qualms in lifting trick-based complex questions from random books. So there is a good chance of having a similar or worse paper next year. Which optionals are you considering now?
