Negative aspects
1) Inequality widened :
Ascribed this to Religion. Ex Muslims in urban areas like Surat emerged as traders
2)Internationalisation of Local sensitive issue like hijab. Ex: UAE was asked to limit trade with India following hijab incident
3)Foreign media liberal approach sensationalising issue that was settled by judiciary in India. Ex: Godhra riots by BBC
Positive aspects
1) Relationship between
Religion and economy :
Political class shall stop
Communalising the incident since it has impact on foreign policy and geoeconomics.
Ex: Tripura political class comment on Bangladesh communalism triggered backlash
2) Rising Economy of India post liberalisation: Puts pressure on nations like Canada and UK to act on
Khalistan elements
