Guys.. is it alright to choose Delhi as centre for mains.. what about the peak cold during Jan 7 -16 period.. will it affect the performance ? 

Please suggest how to prepare oneself to face the weather in case one chooses to write from Delhi.

Does anyone have prior experience of using V7 Pilot in UPSC papers..? 

I feel comfortable with the pen but worried that it might smudge. 

Kindly give your inputs whether we can go for it or change it.. 

And do we need to have waterproof ink ?

Confused if I should book room in a hotel and book bus tickets for travel..  Should I wait for a day or two to wait for  official confirmation from UPSC ? By the time exam gets over by 16th January ( 20 days from today) Covid cases would definitely be in large numbers..
It’s highly risky to travel and stay and then again come back home in between for 5 days before optional. 
Hope UPSC takes good decision.

@Rocker It will be shut down on weekends.. maybe they’ll run metro for upsc candidates like they do for preliminary.. 

and cabs would be available on weekends too for those going to airport and other essentials

Usually main exam is less stressful than preliminary and interviews.. this year it is different..  even CSM 2020 was when cases were decreasing

It’s not curfew. It’s lockdown.. like no hotels , no buses.. everyone should sleep at home.. like during may 2021 and April 2020.. Lathicharge days.. I hope they allow exemption for candidates and their parents 

Dont know what candidates from TN are going to do.. upsc provides lunch.. but what about breakfast and dinner for Travelling candidates.. Zomato and Swiggy at least should be made available.. Ola and Uber may not be available because of less demands.
