Can anyone please recommend who will be better for CA classes between Santosh sir and Dipin sir?
I think you should go for Dipin sir, I have taken classes of both and I found Dipin sir better. Santosh sir gives too many handouts, you will feel that you have studied a lot but it's really hard to revise.
Dipin Sir - pros - crisp handouts of 1-2 pages, value added material, easy to revise, his notes are really useful for mains (mainly GS2-GS3), for prelims his notes are okayish, but again they are short and easy to revise. (but reading too much CA for prelims is futile these days, but no one knows when can UPSC start asking CA, so at least do CA from one source.)
cons - cancel classes often, costly as compared to Santosh sir
Santosh sir - pros - teaches way too much (this is con as well), friendly, his CA notes for SnT and environment are top notch, less costly (he even allow 2 login per course, so you can also buy his course along with someone else)
cons - mainly prelims oriented classes (he teaches approx 5 months only for prelims), at the end of his classes you will have approx 2k pages of current affairs + some static topic as well
My opinion - go for Dipin Sir and refer Santosh sir notes selectively at time of prelims (easily available in market as well as on his telegram channel)
@Caffeinity wht abt MK Yadav??
No idea about him

@Thunderstorm I don’t think ‘lender of the last resort’ is to be taken literally. It’s more a conceptual phrase used in the context of RBI. So, RBI only uses the phrase in content of lending to ‘banks’, specifically. We had this in our school economics books, that’s why i remembered.You can check on their website as well. https://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/FS_Overview.aspx?fn=2758For govt lending it uses the phrase ‘banker to the government’.This is very to similar to the committed judiciary question where many of us took it literall6 and thought that committed judiciary means committed to its role when actually the phrase is used in a context- committed to the government.
Bro are you sure that "Banker to the govt" is the right phrase? I remember reading somewhere, I guess in Vivek Singh's book that correct phrase should be that RBI acts as "Debt Manager" for the govt.

Hey, sorry about the late response.
I'm going to do NCERTs + PYQ based googling + my old notes. Old notes comprise of mostly the monthly magazines from last year and whatever I would get from tests.
Do suggest if you think there's something missing :)
Thank you... this looks fine. There are many other sources but they all are bulky. I am also planning to make own notes from pyps
Took a small break after Mains. Read books like Three Lals of Haryana, Bihar Diaries etc., as reading is my hobby. Also, started going to the gym again.I haven't analysed the GS Papers "properly" right now as the areas of improvement can be understood only after we get our marksheet.Since my optional was Maths (objective optional), I analyzed it and I am quite certain to score around 260 in the worst case and 300+ in the best case.Anyways, I have started preparing for Interview now by not caring about the result. Yes there's high uncertainty about the results but preparing for interview would still involve current affairs analysis which we would have to do for the next Prelims as well.
Bro what are you doing for your interview preparation?
Working on hobby? Or preparing daf?
I am clueless about it. Shed some light
