CSE 2022: Plan/ Strategy/ Daily Routine

@Shambhavi_singh Hey. I can relate to most of what you told. I think I belong to the minority who is not very comfortable with Polity. However, if there is one thing that drastically improved my understanding of Polity and eventually led to marking all the polity questions right in prelims 2021 was Abhey Kumar Sir's telegram channel In that channel, sir posted close to 500 MCQs. I tried solving those diligently and revised them before the exam. The explanations for those questions and my meticulous reading of Bare Act to get clarity helped me improve my understanding. If you can, follow the same. I'm sure the result will be positive.

Finally made peace with my Prelims 2021 debacle. Scoring in the range of 82-88 according to different answer keys.
Like@Neyawn always says, it does not hurt when we mark the pressure cooker question wrong, but it eats up your soul when you mark a question on FDI wrong.
I am still trying to figure out the process through my failure. People at home are disappointed, consequently, casual taunts became my best friend.
I think this is the new normal.

Learnt a few lessons the hard way. The most important one is that this exam demands a thick skin especially if one is preparing from home.

Also, is anyone using Evernote here? Evernote is creating a 7-8 duplicate copies of any note that I edit. Conflict cannot be the issue since I haven't edited the note from any other device.

I have unsynced one device after which I notice this issue. Have checked evernote community forums but no luck.

Please let me know if you faced this.

Hie. It happens to me as well. Try updating the software if not done already.
In my case, this used to happen when I copy something from the internet and paste it. If that is the case with you as well, try copying that content onto a word or something like. and copy it back to Evernote.
I know, a lengthy and irritating process. But this is what I have arrived at. It works though :)

Hey guys, wanted to know how y’all are doing prelims tests??
I mean I don’t feel like opening the test and revising irrespective of the scores!
What I do is, write the things which I’ve no/less clue about & other times I just read it again from the book or from the answers given by the test.
I’ve this fear of not be able to remember everything from the test! Maybe bcoz I ain’t confident as of now with what I’m doing.

Can you guys share how you guys are doing it?

Hie.
I can relate to the discomfort of revising tests. I have come up with this idea, where I create a page on my Evernote for each subject.
after finishing the test and while doing the analysis, I note down only those points and concepts that I feel like I'd forget eventually. Takes time, but I had all the topics and facts that need more revision in one place. With every subsequent revision for the static of that particular subject, I used to strike out the topics that I am confident in ( with utmost honesty)
So by the time, I went in for pre,  I had 15-20 points from the tests that needed to be memorised by heart.

it worked for me in the real exam.
