Which of the following is/are the advantages /advantages of practising drip irrigation

?
1. Reduction in weed
2. Reduction in soil salinity
3. Reduction in soil erosion

please explain also

I think it's all three. Reduction in weed due to targeted irrigation, reduction in salinity due to leaching by drip irrigation and reduction in soil erosion due to lesser usage of water.

The principle involved in paper chromatography is

1. absorption

2. partition

3. solubility

4. volatility

Isn't the answer solubility? I've seen a website give partition as the answer.

I don't think its solubility since it depends on how far the mobile phases travel on the solid phase (paper). This is determined by partition, adsorption, etc.  I would eliminate solubility and volatility.

Solubility can also be a factor.
