Trying to get back on track, overall an unproductive day.

Targets completed on 8-11-21

1) Newspaper + daily CA

2) One ethics class

3) One PSIR class

4) Regionalism vision PDF

No stopping till June 5, must keep chipping away at the targets like chasing a 300+ total on the fifth day. Difficult-yes, Impossible-NO!

Not so productive in the last two days.

Targets completed on 9-11-21:

1) Daily CA + Newspaper + Perspective

2) One ethics lecture + One PSIR lecture

3) 20 pages of PSIR + 10pages of NCERT + prelims 2021 Polity and History analysis

Targets completed on 10-11-21:

1) Daily CA + Newspaper

2) 20 pages of ethics

3) One hour brainstorming/answer writing ethics session

Should have done better today.

On the bright side New Zealand beat England in the semis, hope they win the cup this time after losing the finals in 15 and 19.

With 34 required of the last 3 overs, Daryl Mitchell (NZ batsman) refused to run a double as he had gotten in the way Adil Rashid (the bowler) and prevented him from fielding the ball. In a world cup semi, in a crunch situation I would have probably taken that double. That was some top tier GS-4 stuff right there!

Really productive day

Targets accomplished on  17-11-21

1) One lecture each of ethics + ancient India + PSIR

2) Daily CA+ Newspaper + Perspective

3) One chapter of RS Sharma + a few pages of ethics

Just learnt today that optional classes will drag on till January, that's almost 8 months for optional, what a drag. Online classes are mundane and boring in themselves, the extensions aren't helping at all. Add to that, I have close to 30 lectures of GS in backlog (my own fault). Was motivated and disciplined in the first few months of prep and then burnout hit me, should have taken a break after hectic lab days and master thesis submission. Jumped straight into the preparation as I felt, I was behind other peers who were prepping straight after bachelors (Big mistake,I know). My plans of focusing on prelims from December and note making have all drowned. I have made no notes and revision is an alien concept right now, just trying to keep up with the classes.  Need to figure a way out of this mess soon.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day.

@iphoole are you talking about SR’s PSIR by any chance?

I’d joined the June batch too, I didn’t know about the extension but considering the amount of syllabus left, it had seemed that it would go on for longer.

How do you know about this extension?

I am in April GS + Optional batch. In a Q&A some other person (not Shubra ma'am) told that there are 180 classes in total. They have only reached 120 classes for us, so it will be extended I guess. Some batches are getting recorded lectures, are you in that? Apparently their classes are moving faster. We have only completed Paper 1A and Paper 2A is almost done, rest have not been touched.
