To avoid confusion between the definition ofStunting, Wasting, and Underweightuse the following method.

Let Height=t

      Age =g,

     Weight =w.

Now, Start from thebeginningof the word andlook forthevariable(t,g,w)whichever you encounterfirst will be low as compared to the next different encountered variableand once you havefound twovariablesdon't move aheadin the word. Thus it will form the definition.

Example:

Stunting- t occurs first and then g solow height for age

Wasting - w occurs first and then t solow weight for height

Underweight - w occurs first and then g solow weight for age

The Number 89 can be helpful in remembering articles.

For example:
72(Power of President to grant pardon) + 89 = 161 (Power of Governor to grant pardon)
73(Extent of Executive power of Union) + 89 = 162 (Extent of Executive power of state)
76(Attorney General of India ) + 89                 = 165 (Advocate General of State)
87 (Special Address by the President) + 89   = 176 (Special address by the Governor)
110(definition of money bill) + 89                     = 199 (definition of money bill)

Similarly we can find for many other articles.

Note: Doesn’t work for all the articles of the constitution e.g 80, 112, 121,122,123 etc.

Just remember 10 is obtained by multiplying 5 and 2 so 52nd amendment.

It can be helpful in option elimination.

@Naadan_Parinda every mnemonics need not be memorised only for those things which are very important and difficult to remember. This way you will have to remember less.
When remembering the mnemonic try to connect the mnemonic words with the thing for which it is made.
E.g. Arctic council has Russia and it's mnemonic is Russian CD IS FUN so connect Russia in both and try to remember.

Mostly mnemonic is a secondary tool to support what we have learnt we should try to learn first without it and then use it when required.

Members of Arctic Council : Russian CD IS FUN

(read CD as Compact Disc, it will make it easy to remember)

Russian - Russia

C - Canada

D - Denmark

I  -  Iceland

S - Sweden

F - Finland

U - United States

N - Norway

If students are able to remember at least Russia related to Arctic council they will connect the rest of the countries by using the mnemonic.
