@Gunther Yes, start solving prelims mock tests from January. And I would say do complete your GS 1, 2 & 3 + optional till October Mid. Then pick Ethics + leftover topics and complete them before January. Also do write some Mains mock before January itself. I think a good hold on ethics gives an edge to GS preparation.

@Naadan_Parinda awesome dedication br9
Real dedicated One is@Dora-the_Explorer
@Naadan_Parinda, Thank You🙏.
This question is to those who are clocking 9+ hours consistently - how do you manage to sit for long hours? I mean physically, how do you keep going? I max out at about 7-8 hours. Also been experiencing tremendous lower back pain of late due to continuous sitting. It's come to the point where I literally have to lie on the floor for relief. This shouldn't be happening at 23 years of age.
You can try doing some yoga for lower back in between the study hours for 20 minutes or as per your convenience. I'm clocking 9+ hours but within my study time, I sometimes just stand up and revise whatever is on my timetable or just roam in the room itself. And there's nothing bad in lying on the floor for some time.
Aaj i didn't follow the usual routine but revised 2017-2020 IR and 2019-20 Society. Hope to finish 2018-19 Booklet of society.
Csat Test given but scoring around 87-100 in forum and vision.
@Dora-the_Explorer please give some tips about Increasing marks in Csat.
Was feeling a bit lethargy may be i am start to feel a bit burn out. I hope this feeling ends and I regain my energy...
Any tips to regain energy?@HotBloodPrince @Naadan_Parinda @Sherkhan1428
-Hey, My weakness is Maths, so, my focus is on my weakness nd m practising daily one topic or sub-topic with PYQs.
- For CSAT I guess PYQs are the best source. My comprehension nd reasoning part is gud, so I try to give 2-3 CSAT mocks in a week just to keep myself confident.
- Marks between 90-100 is enough (if u r scoring in mocks), we just need 33%.
- So, just focus on your weak areas nd start practising PYQs.
@Raillife Doing PYQs would be a good way. Like attempt the question and if you get something wrong, look at the topic from some banking sites like Affairscloud. They have various formulae and short tricks arranged topic wise. And try to focus on the somewhat easier topics like Profit and Loss, Percentages, Time and Work type questions. Similar stuff you can try for reasoning.
@Raillife , as@Monkey D. Luffy mentioned, Go for PYQs. you will get the idea about what type of ques UPSC is asking. then according to the wrong answers choose the topic and prepare.. like, average, P & L, R & P in maths, and direction sense, syllogism, blood relation calendar for Reasoning, every year there are one or two ques from these topics. Gud Luck.
Thank You 🙏 @Bolt @HotBloodPrince @ssver2 @Sadhika @Patootie
