@Hartshorne Mine for POLITICAL aspects of Himalaya question.

Mine👇🏼

POLITICAL ASPECTS OF HIMALAYA
* Through Himalayas : Historically United, Common history, birth of Indus civilization
* Physical barrier : nature of state different(for India, Pakistan and China) ; Division of space into different cells with autonomous power(Nation State) - Territoriality ; Unrecognised international border due to rugged terrain (LAC,LOC)
* Development of different religions and languages due to non interaction or less interaction on either side of Himalayas
* Asymmetric federalism within India due to Constraints posed by Himalayas, tribal culture (primitive way of living),
* Geo strategy : China is having advantage as Tibetan terrain is flat and is located at a very high altitude whereas indian side Himalayas is steep and concave towards it, keeping Siachen glacier an important battlefront without which Karakoram passway would easily help China and Pakistan to attack with combined force, cross border Terrorism by Pakistan through non state actors, Strategic areas always in dispute, development of nuclear powerfor national security, emergence of new union territory of Ladakh is due to its strategic advantage ; China taking advantage of Brahmaputra river for run of the river projects by being an upper riparian state
* Geopolitics (International relations) : concept of South Asia, SAARC, Hydro-diplomacy between India and Bhutan
* Regional consciousness : Ladakh for long demanded to have separate identity as they differ from J&K by being Buddhists and rooted to their place with Tibeto mongoloid race, Uttarakhand as state from UP

@MasterMind Take up all major Capitals and second most important cities in South east asian countries which are primate cities got developed disproportionately larger than other cities due to Colonial factors like Trade policies, Development of coastal area for export, developing cities for cantonment purpose/defence purpose along with draining away wealth from rural areas or areas where resources found(palm oil, rubber etc) and hence developed primate pattern of urban process (because people moved to urban areas to find work as traditional industries, rural artisans, export policy for agri crops were not in favour of them). EXPAND IT with Dutch, British , French Names along with capital names
