Down To Earth's annual issue- State of India’s Environment 2021would be a very good read for CSE 21. You may read it selectively.
They have revealed the index and the introduction to the issue in the link attached.
Idk why I am not able to download the contents list from the website. Can you please upload it here?
Hi can someone please clear a simple doubt of mine? How is rise in MSP related to inflation?MSP is the minimum support price. So usually farmers keep that in mind while selling their crops. Consider 2 scenarios:
1. Suppose in one year, MSP is 1500 rupees/kg.. then farmers will try to sell it over and above this price threshold, maybe at 1600 rupees.
2. Next year MSP is increased to 1600 rupees/kg, then farmers will obviously not sell it at the price that they sold last year.. This year they might sell it at 1700 rupees.
And the cycle goes on..
So you see, this is how price of the commodity is increasing every year (if all other factors are constant). Hence, we correlate MSP with Inflation..
P.S: I am not so good at explaining things, I hope this layman approach of mine makes some sense.
Thank you. It helped :)

@AlphaCAT Have many people experienced this drop in their scores in vision open mock? I have also scored in the 60s. The worse part is that the percentile is also low.
Any chance if vision open could be attempted offline? I mean by printing pdf...do they provide pdf like Forum/ shankar do? I am unable to find the question paper on the portal

Try taking it this way-
1. If prices of domestic goods remain constant, devaluation of currency will be more beneficial.
We can do the same with the other options too and aptly derive a conclusion.
@ToyotaQualis answer from Official answer key is B

Ok so they meant When exports become cheaper to importers of importing countries.
Yeah that seems to be the most appropriate explanation. I was not even able to make sense of the options!
You just need to be calm and relaxed till prelim. You will make it.Just a tip- don't keep expectation that you will clear, neither fear about failure. Just be in the moment
Thanks for the support and appropriate caution :)
