Can someone clarify the difference between responsibility and accountability? At some places, it is written that responsibility cannot be assigned to someone while accountability can. But we do sometimes say "I am giving you the responsibility of doing XYZ". Is that an incorrect use of the term?
Accountability isanswerabilityof a person for his decisions to aformal system. Responsibility ismoral obligationof an individual to behave with an essence of commitment to duty. For eg- Lal Bahadur Shastri took personal responsibility of a train accident and resigned, although he can not be held accountable for this. It is given in more detail in forum's red book on ethics, you may refer it.
is it correct, does organic farming requires the elimination of all synthetic inputs? also tell difference between znbf and organic farming from mcq point of view [1-2 distinguishing point]
thanks in advance
zbnf means farming without chemicals (natural) and without taking any credit or spending any money on inputs. zbnf is basically intended to end debt cycle. In organic farming, farming is done without chemicals but farmer may take credit and spend money on inputs.
Someone asked for a timeline for history. Here it is 02._Art_and_Culture_-_Historical_Evolution.pdf
Functional chromosomes can be created by joining segments of DNA taken from cells of different species.(UPSC 2019)
This statement is incorrect. But arent all GM crops created by joining DNA segments of different species? Bacteria and plant are different species.
In this question, all other options could be eliminated and we would be left with only this option. Also, a functional chromosomes does notonlycontain DNA, it also needs histones, proteins, ion etc.
