Well, what can I say? I'm terrible at Geography and I need all the help I can get. I figure the best way for a novice like me to get around this is to get acquainted with as many questions as possible. Everyone but me seems to be good at geography, so I'm pretty sure we could come with a comprehensive question bank with pooled efforts. Join me please, fellow passengers?

- The Bay of Bengal is a more likely target because:
- It gets higher rainfall, and the sluggish winds around it keep temperatures relatively high: about 28 degrees around the year. Warm air currents enhance this surface temperature and aid the formation of cyclones.
- In addition, the Bay receives higher rainfall and constant inflow of fresh water from the Ganga and Brahmaputra rivers. This means that the Bay’s surface water keeps getting refreshed, making it impossible for the warm water to mix with the cooler water below, making it ideal for depression.
- On the other hand, the Arabian Sea receives stronger winds that help dissipate the heat, and the lack of constant freshwater supply helps the warm water mix with the cool water, reducing the temperature.

I like this. Yes to this! I see a lot of economic geography questions in recent years and I have little to no idea to handle this.

Question 2-“Spatial spillovers and functional inter-dependencies among industries often play a vital role in Industrial location”- Justify.(250 words) (15 marks)
Question 3-Discuss the various factors that affect Industrial location. How behaviour and perception can distort locations? Substantiate your arguments with proper examples.(150 words) (10 marks)

For Geogrpahy, vision ias mock solutions do a great job. They can actually be revised for exam directly. If possible go through them once.
