I have been terminated from a Public sector bank recently on the grounds of unauthorised absence. Does this termination makes me unfit for any future Government employment?

Hi, I am facing a very critical situation related to my future. I am an aspirant of UPSC CSE and this termination has been causing me anxieties. If anyone here has faced a similar situation, please help me out.

No, this will not create any issue. But, it will be better not to disclose ur job. It will have a negative impact in the interview.

Take other people opinion too.

I will advise NOT to Hide such things. If you speak with confidence and acceptance, board will not take it otherwise + rather take it positive also ! Be honest you will score better. 💐

Hey

One can be unfit from any future govt job only when s/he has been framed in any criminal charge under IPC including corruption cases. Being absent from job doest not amount so. This is true to my best knowledge.

Although, u may take other people advice too.

@Neyawn please share your views sir

Hello,

As far as Civils is concerned, there has been no issues with respect to terminated employees.

There are terminated people in between 2014-2017 selected and now serving in Civils, whom I know.

I do not think there has been any known issues in last two three batches also .

I am not aware of how it works for other government exams.

@aspiringIPS Let me assure you that if there is anything that will stop you from becoming an IPS, it will not be this issue.
