@mvp if you have to choose between forestry and geology...then forestry is relatively easy, short and takes lesser time as compared to geology..
Geology is much more wide and comprehensive vis a vis forestry

@everybodylies do you have any background in botany ?

2.9k views
@everybodylies you can do one thing..go through syllabus of both botany and geology..analyse the topics...look for 1-2 toppers from botany and understand their strategy....you must see that botany would i guess involve lot of diagrams and that too slightly more technical..so you must be comfortable with it..you must also make sure that good quality material is available for it...
Insofar as geology is concerned..i have taken it so can say that it is quite extensive and would need some time..but good material is available...so evaluate both in these parameters and then take your decision...someone with botany can also share his her insights..

2.9k views
@AccidentalFaqeer yes you can...if you do with proper strategy

4.7k views
@AccidentalFaqeer your preparation should be very concise and focus on good sources for each topic of syllabus..always focus on previous year questions around which your preparation should revolve...for topic wise details refer to page 3 of this thread where@Steph_Curry has very nicely put all details..
