While opposition to NRC on the basis of lack of documents is valid but i dont understand the basis on relegious grounds CAB specificaly mentions 3 countries so if i am a hindu from kerala who has no documents how am i going to prove i belonged to those countries and came before 2015 and get citizenship under cab during NRC?

Aaplog kya bol rahe ho a democraticaly elected goveenment passed a law throug due process as given by the constitution now the constitution has given judiciory as a means through which the law can be challenged. By taking to streets and burning down buses trains and public property to pressurise government to withdraw its stand is pure text book definition of fascism its not peacful protests and primary duty of any state is to maintain law and order so cops are justified to use force. U cannot have your way in the streets and expect police not to retaliate, by supporting such acts you are degrading the constitution which you claim to hold in such high regard

Bhai u where talking about majoritarian government, in a democracy government is always majoritarian and constitution has laid down procedures through which such government should function and if it does not judiciory is a mean through which majoritarianism can be checked
And for students political activism its well and good but in this current scenario in the name of students politics violence was set loose such methods of "political accountability" is never good

2017 marking was more liberal i guess, paper was also more on the easier side but this time both papers where more on difficult side i feel so hopefuly thoda liberal hoga marking

My 3rd mains last 2 times i did not join any test series so completion of paper quality and structure of answer was poor but this time i did join test series and i feel i hav done well on structuring and content part except for avg pergormance in gs 1 alomg with bouncer in optional paper 2. Few people i have talked to who has given interview has laid stress on completion of paper and avg content, and most of all your inner feeling after the exam is also a good guide if you feel you have performed well then chances are good for you

There has been 3 fake pdfs so far, 2 of them have been proved fake this one is where people are speculating and roll nos also varies in two of these pdfs

Yestd in telegram group they where saying a new pdf has come but it wasn allowed to be shared in the group and the group is now deleted i guess. So if every 2 days new fake pdfs are popping out all of which seems genuine you can rest assured somone is playing a major hoax to spread fear

I think by calling it draft is what sowing fear in the mind of aspiranrts and you cant blame em there are people with large stakes depending on a pdf ( original upsc one that is)

If diaspora is our strength which it is we should actively use it to further our intrests which is the basics of diplomacy

We shouldn set the precident of letting forign representatives interfere on cases which are crucial for domestic intrests.
In case of malysia and influence of China they resisted criticizing china on uighur issue but called india as an occupying force here again if they dont respect our domestic sensitivities and intrests of india we shouldn cow down worrying about other factors and let every country bully us which will again show us on a negative light diplomaticaly. @John_Titoru cannot allow using the fear of china against us that will allow every country to bully us and use china card to arm twist us and sacrifice our core intrests and influence of china is a reality and our neighbour hood will actively use China for further investments in their countries irrespective of how magnanimous we are so its better we accept that reality and work with china on these fronts and actively try to increase our influence in chinas neighbour hood as a counterbalence.
USA did not follow altruistic diplomacy with pakistan it rather wanted to protect its bases in afganistan and for settlement there of which pakistan has major role.
China is also a major bully in diplomacy but they actively use carrot and stick to further and protect its intrests.
My entire point is fear of repurcusions should not be guiding our policy when it comes to protecting our core intrests as it would show us as a meek country and sometimes show of strenth in different ways is benefitial
