@John_TitorAre vision 365 modules enough to cover paper 2 paper 3 or do we need to revise monthly booklets too?

so far current affairs are concerned the booklets cover most of the things but there are few topics in syllabus for which you will have to refer online resources or vision value added material for ex- voluntary sector, cropping pattern etc . Also , try to make notes out of the 365 atleast for the GS3 ,because as exam approaches you will find 365 intolerable due to information overload?

Is there any thread for important topics for mains 2019

@K_9@LostStarted with how the first line of our class 4 History book started with the line "History is His Story, the story of Man". Gave examples of historical aspects inspiring current principles (Rig Vedic Sabha, Chola = PRI today, Ashoka = diplomacy), how we learn from mistakes (colonialism = WTO, Hiroshima = Disarmament). Just built upon points like these.

What was the essay topic ?

@bevancompaper kaisa gaya ye dekhne ke liye question ko subparts me divide karke marks ka analysis karna chahiye, last year ka marks ke jaise hi checking hua aise consider karke faisala nahi le sakte, every question paper has its own character, interview calls depend upon following factors -

  1. Kisi paper me bhot kam marks na mil jaye atleast average in all papers is must.
  2. 2 3 papers should be exceedingly well.
3.papers are left blank for more than 1 or 2 questions.
  3. optional ethics case studies essay philosophical determine rank in the end.

Papers are left blank for more than 1 or 2 questions means ??

This wait is to continue. The order will not be pronounced tomorrow since it has missed the causelist and also, the supplementary list.

What next? Since UPSC is as eager as us, they may request a mentioning of the matter before Chairman for an urgent pronouncement. This can happen only tomorrow. If the Chairman deems fit such a request, he may pronounce the order on Monday. If no such request is made, it might take longer.

So, let's be hopeful for Monday now.
