Ultimate piece of advice
Either you are doing good in both essay or optional, or you are gonna get chucked in mains. Either at mains itself or at interview thanks to poor mains scores.
At the end GS is hardly a deal maker these days. With 90s being the new 100s, the variance in score of a average and a good GS paper isn't enough to save the day.
Do optional. Leave the last month for GS. A 40 50 mark lead in optional is easily achievable, as is a 15 20 mark lead in essay. The same, you can't do in GS.
Which TS is good for essay?
As someone with consecutive 140+ scores, no one. Either you read editorials of hindu/ IE or forget getting 145 in essay. Coaching masters can only get you to 125. Also don't constrict yourself, the main funda of essay is that it's not GS. Just making it a mumbo jumbo of data doesn't help. There must be analysis, there must be feelings there must be rhetoric. Also you can write essays that heavily critic the government, but it must be technically sound.
can anyone please share the strategy for Ethics paper ? is it necessary to read all thinkers for this paper ?
Yes. Thinkers should not only be learned but also actively used in other papers for multidimensional analysis. You can use the idea of rawls in favor of UBI and gandhi against UBI. So that's how it works
Kindly suggest better anthropology test series (I have attended mains twice with geo optional and now with anthro).please let me know the feasiblity of working professionals joining such test series
I took sosins but its quite meh. This season I might take L2a. However most important is to get the pink booklet of sosin, where she has compiled questions from 1990 onwards and try to compile points for all questions. 70% of questions are just a refurbished version of a previously appeared question

Hey, how would you use Gandhi against UBI? Bread labour? That everyone should have to do a basic minimum amount of labour to earn a living? (That’d be UBL hehe)
pretty sure economic survey 2018 used gandhi in its philosophical critic of ubi. They assigned to it the sin of wealth without work.
Any tips on how you guys are covering world history? I am trying to do it from the Vision IAS booklet but it is taking a lot of time
Please look up some documentary FOR the world wars. Normally is enough. I would suggest doing decolonization from norman lowe and a few other chapters like the middle east crisis etc. On IR and french revo use ignou notes, these notes are crisp and concise, like 8 10 pages each
I need some help. I'm an absolute newbie to ethics. Haven't read a word before. I have been suggested to watch Atul Garg's ethics lecture series. It is a 30 lecture series. Should I go for it is it the right way to go ahead?
