GS-4 Soooooo long paper!!
Started with Section A and took me 2 hrs to complete... scared shitless with just 1 hr left for 6 case studies...
Wrote 2 case studies okayish.. 2 very poorly directly picking up the sub-parts and some generic points/poor thought out points. Couldn't attempt one complete case study and one about 2/3rd left!
I feel like crying!
I am thinking if starting with section-B would have been better choice as answering section-A in time crunch would have been easier (anyways 10 markers)? Anyone who started with section-B please share your experience.
Excuse if I am being naive, but is economics optional doable if I have no economics background? Out of the entire GS syllabus, economics is my favourite part (closely followed by geography) but I have an engineering background (current optional - anthro).Glad someone is thinking of economics as an optional. There are coaching institutions which provides economics ; the two prominent one are1. Next ias under Vibhas Jha sir2. Bliss point under Ravinder Jha sirBefore joining u should book a sitting with both of them and see whom u connect well as in economics optional everything boils down to pyq which rarely anyone help u to solve .
Out with Anthro... 2nd attempt 1st mains..
Though I kind of knew I will be out as I started my optional preparation after the prelims result but man that 2.5 months!! That has to be the hardest working & slogging 2.5 months of my entire life... I was hoping for a miracle to happen to get into the holy pdf..
The taxing effect mains prep causes on the body is real, did not even start my prep for 2023 till now... time to get back into rhythm and give a well-prepared solid attempt next year!
you mean Rajtanil mam lectures?@iceblock you can refer mrunal lectures on this topic...it is quite good
