And what do people with humanities optional do for the same?
I mean marks awarded are definitely very elastic. For instance, people can get 210-310 in psir/sociology. A person getting more than 280 must be getting 60% marks in many questions.
Does anybody have any idea on how to rate their performance in humanities optional paper (like in GS one can take a conservative estimate)?

Koi iska bhi bata do please. I think someone with an experience of giving mains with humanities optional must have cracked how optional marking is different than GS.
Obviously nobody can tell for sure. Wait and watch is the name of the game. But if any kind of clarity can be provided, it'd be great especially for the newbies.
Scaling PSIR jaise optionals mein kitni hoti hai btw?Marks bhadane chahiye usme toh 5 saal se butchering ho rhi psir ki .. sabse jyada crowd hai isilye list me naam dikhte otherwise percentage me kaafi Kam hai appeared to success me
Let's hope so man.
I got scared by looking at the talks of heavy scaling in maths optional. One wonders ki humanities optional mein kaise aur kitni hoti hogi.
Obviously there is no way to be sure, unlike objective optionals. Jinko past experience hai woh bhi andaza hi laga skte hain after seeing their marks.
