I do not understand the logic behind having 1 week full of tests from Ancient-medieval-Art and culture section when more important sections like ENVIRONMENT , ECONOMY or SCIENCE and TECH have almost 15-20 questions coming from them every year. Is it not possible to have Economy or Environment next week and Ancient history in the last week of SFG ( September 1st week ) ?@forumiasacademy @farejul
@TH14 This makes a lot of sense. So, one just has to stay sane and believe in one's own ability and strategy. Thank you ! It's also a relief to know that the questions these days are irking most of us . Haha :p
@calvinhobbes your concern is valid. The question could have been better framed. But one has to look at the larger picture here. UPSC in its question booklet also clearly states " In case you
feel that there is more than one correct response, mark the response which you consider the best. In any case,
choose ONLY ONE response for each item."
Although chances are rare but it might happen in actual exam also. In dubious questions like these ,one will go for the most appropriate option.
@sjerngal No it is not. We cannot assume unless the gender is mentioned as "daughter","sister","mother". In some questions "Tina" will be "brother" of some person. It is deliberately framed that way to check gender bias and overall biasness of a candidate (hence an aptitude test) :P
