The cut off for SFG batch is 72...while for RLG is 30...

This is surprisingly very high in conparsion to previous few years score line...may be consequences of online entrance test!!!! 🙄🙄

SFG is one of the best initiative for revision of all the standard books and injecting a sense of self discipline in our preparation...I have seen people commenting that questions are not of that Upsc standard ...lifted directly from books blah blah..But if you ask them about their score then majority of them either are not writing their tests regularly due to the fear of bad scores or they are performing avg or below avg in terms of their score in the daily test...Well we are no one to decide what and how exactly the questions should be framed...Our purpose is to study and finish up all the basic requirements for this test and Ultimately for the exams...it's a human nature and pyscholgy that if we are unable to match up or not able to perform well in a particular context then our brain started searching and manipulating silly excuses.... Haven't u seen people blaming even UPSC too that they are making weird and random below standard questions😄😄 ....But what about those who are getting selected...The only difference between successful and people who are not getting their success is that successful never crib and complain about the examiner...They constantly and rigourlsy work hard to refine their mistakes and prepare themselves for the final glory....

P.s I am also a failure ...struggling for my success and after few failures I too started blaming and accusing so many unwanted and unncessary things just as an excuse but then realised that real fault lies within me ...and no one can help me to come out of it except me....

So guys let's make the best of this programme...and try not to loosen Ur belt even for a sec....The war has begun....and the competition is very tough this time....👍🙏

Indian council act of 1909 was first introduced direct election in India(Although at local level but this only introduced for the very first time)..The Ques was also about first time direct election)..This particular fact is wrong given in laxmikant...In the test too this answer is wrong ...We can take the reference of D D Basu's chapter historical background...

With reference to one of the statement in a question how come executive and legislature in Indian parliamentary system are inseparable...?? They are interdependent at work but not inseparable. We don't have water tight separation of powers like of American constitution but it does not mean that legislature and executive are inseparable...

Thanks for all the enlightenment and quick response ...but then even by that logic too..can legislature also inseparable from executive??....All the members of the executive are the members of the legislature but opposite is not true...and that's why we too have "separation of power" but not as water tight as like American constitution...and it's the part of the basic structure too(one of the declaration by  hon. SC in keshavanand Bharti case)

Although most of the Fundamental rights are directly enforced but again few of them do require legislation for their implementation...Here in the question 9 "Most of the" prefix was not used..so this statement can't be correct...

In Ques 23 ...Wrt Fundamental right Not all of them but most of them are available against the arbitrary action of the state...with a few exceptions like those against the state's action and against the action of Pvt individuals...

@Azkaban That "duty wala" question was asked in 2017 pre..ans as per upsc key is "d" only... Generally rights and duties of citizens are correlative and inseparable(NCERT statement, apart from that explicitly mentioned in the laxmikant very first line of fundamental duties chapter)

@Thinker Article 35 lays down that only parliament has the power to make laws to give effect to certain specified fundamental right and it's not always with respect to punishment...There are two categories wrt FR...One is where they need not any law for their implementation but there are few FR which requires certain Laws for their implementation....For ex..
1-Article-16(here the law is about prescribing residence as a condition for certain employment or appointments or appointment in a state or UT or local authority)
2-Article-32(similarly here it's about empowering courts other than the SC and the HC to issue directions orders and writs of all kind for the enforcement of FR)
3-Article-33
4-Article-34

Governor can not make advances out of contingency fund of the state to meet any unforseen expenditure without the approval of the state legislature. Why this statement is incorrect...In any case legislative approval is mandatory...He can make withdraw money on the advice of cabinet but it has to be approved by the legislature mandatorily...

@babyoutlaw I agree with all the other factual information u provided here but in any case you need legislative approval ...please have a look at Article 267(2)

@Prashant076 Can president proceed with the appointment process without collegium system...It is not his discretion to appoint anyone as judge of SC....As per the third judge case, for the sake of appointment of judges consultation of plurality of judges is must...
Hope it helps....

@Thinker In Ques no 28 the correct ans should be "b" only as it asked for incorrect statement... explanation was correct but and option is wrongly mentioned.. please have a look...

@Thinker Ques no 30 the correct ans is "b" only...

@Thinker in Ques no 11 why "b" option is correct as it says 1,2,3,4 only but when there are other factors too which affects the distribution of temperature of ocean water ..So logically ans should be "all of the above" in this particular case...

@Thinker I live in Delhi and internet services are either down or very slow due to farmer agitation..and it is not conducive for us(those living in affected areas) to attempt SFG test because it's taking too much time to open up the portal, also difficult to attempt because sometimes it hangs ...today only it took 15 min to open the portal in order to attempt test...and ultimately it affected final scores too(today only I didn't even last 14 Ques)...Please provide a resolution in this regard because under these conditions it won't reamain a fair competition...I mailed to help desk people too but got no response

@sjerngal second you completely....It was built by bhimdev 1 of Solanki dyansty but Wikipedia says Bhima 1 of chalukya dynasty...but interesting fact is that in vernacular literature chalukya dyansty is known as the name of Solanki dyansty.... Surprisingly they(forum) are following Wikipedia as an absolute source and not NCERT....
