Good Morning everyone.. :)
Can someone please throw clarity on the 1st option of Q26 (I couldnt understand why this is incorrect, it is mentioned in Laxmikanth under mutual delegation of functions.... or am I reading it out of context)
With reference to Centre- State Administrative Relations, which of the following statements is/ are correct?
1. The Constitution makes provision for the entrustment of the executive functions of the Centre to a state by President without the consent of that State.

Maybe you have an old edition of the book? New sites keep getting added all the time, so you'd need to update it
It's third edition which covers 2019 - Jaipur as the last entrant..

@grv_346910 -- I guess it will help you too with some clarification... According to the UNESCO
Mountain railway of India is counted as one site
However in Nitin Singhania 3rd edition
Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, Nilgiri Mountain railway and Kalka Shimla Railway are counted as three different sites (thus the count in book comes out to be 32 instead of 30)
In your edition Nilgiri hill is written seperately.. however it is a part of Western Ghat, thus the count comes down to 7
Thanks for all the enlightenment and quick response ...but then even by that logic too..can legislature also inseparable from executive??....All the members of the executive are the members of the legislature but opposite is not true...and that's why we too have "separation of power" but not as water tight as like American constitution...and it's the part of the basic structure too(one of the declaration by hon. SC in keshavanand Bharti case)
Hi, as parliamentary system speaks of double membership ministers are members of legislature as well as of executive. Further, although we do have 'separation to power', in this particular context the inseparability between the two is highlighted as a criticism/demit.
Manjira is a "non-drum percussion" instrument, but nevertheless is percussion (source: Nitin Singhania Ch-5) Correct me if am wrong@Thinker @forumiasacademy
