@SunnyParashar I am from IIT Delhi. This is my second attempt as well. Preparing without job after rejecting some great research opportunities abroad. I agree it becomes difficult when you see your peers moving ahead in life but there must be a reason why you left those opportunities and instead decided to prepare for UPSC. And if you convinced yourself enough to leave a high salary and try for something as unpredictable as UPSC then you must find the answer within yourself to justify it to the board. And 2.5 years isn't that long. There is nothing wrong in finding your passion a little later in life. You just need to be show conviction when you tell them the reason and there is no point crying over your decisions. You took the decision, now own them.

@kartikeybhatt171778 I have tried to but i see people here discussing that people with no work ex get poor marks in interview,a gap of more than 1 attempt results in bad marks.This got me worried
That's BS. An acquaintance of mine cleared UPSC in her 4th attempt with no job and got 192 in personality test.
