Koi engineer bata do pressure cooker ka answer. Does area of hole in lid affect temp inside?
Atmospheric pressure influences the boiling point of water. When atmospheric pressure increases, the boiling point of water becomes higher that is it becomes nearly 120 deg Celsius from 100 deg Celsius.
So ↑ flame temp means more steam formation which means pressure ↑ inside cooker which ↑ Boiling point of water result in faster cooking of food so 2nd statement correct.
Area of hole in lid does not play any direct role at all , it is ACTUALLY opening and closing of hole which helps in maintain the desired pressure by removing excess steam generated in pressure cooker, which is done by pressure regulator which we call Sitti/whistle. There is another hole in lid which is just a safety valve.
Means 1st statement shouldn't be correct?
I thought that as well but every coaching is going with D
1 is correct .EPFO issued a clarification letter in 2017 due to legal cases. All workers are treated same whether regular ,casual or contractual and ALL are entitled to PF. See BELOW:-
Yaar ab Dheela rakhoge to dhakkan to udega hi.But dhakkan Pressure me variation inside cooker thode produce karta hai.
IT DOES .BY using pressure whistle or sitti. Its opening and closing relives the steam and hence maintains desirable pressure otherwise pressure cooker will explode. pressure cooker are designed for certain temperature and pressure which is decided bythicknessof a pressure vessel.
@Phantom It always happens. UPSC playing the wrong ball. They should stick. to syllabus and set guidelines . They should introduce randomness within the zone of syllabus but asking anything like roger fedrar or virat kohli etc. is making aspirants pessimistic in hard work which they always put in by self study.
Federer is well know mega star. It has lots of fans in India including politicians, businessman and film stars. there are other too , imagine if they ask about little less known one like Murray or Wawrinka. Other reason for doing this is to counter coaching material and youtubers. UPSC might bring a different randomness in year 2022.
in that epfo source that you shared, it’s apparent that the notification is applicable to establishments with 20 or more workers only. So it’s clear that it’s not applicable to ALL casual workers. Hence, can we conclude that statement 1 is wrong ? Kindly clarify sir

@5HT pressure cookers specifically have been designed to maintain a pressure range at the temp of boiling point of whichever liquid (water practically) throughout the cooking through the periodic release of vapour quantities.
actually pressure inside the cooker increase the Boiling temperature of water to around 120 deg Celsius which helps in fast cooking. It does not maintain pressure around Normal BP of water.
iss definition se toh A hi aa rha hai answer...anyways B mai natural rights bol rha hai, totalitarian states have no natural rights they remain a state nevertheless
basically, the idea of state/nation-state is centered around sovereignty.
IF B IS RIGHT ,by this logic Myanmar, Sudan and north Korea failed to be called state even they are recognized by UN as state.
Since we have found the answers of almost all the questions, only two remain debatable, the EPFO (most probably 2 and 3) and the Cooker one (most probably 1 and 3).
The answers to other 'disputable' questions are Sutlej ( from Khullar), Right To City ( 2 and 3 from IE article), Mitochondria (Both 1 and 2, from several books), virus can't be cultured ( previous year q), State (Option A), Magnetite (all option right), Smelter (all options right).
All questions were right and nothing will be dropped.Last year 1-2 question/s were dropped due to translation issues. It wont be the case this time. Also seats are less this time. You can now peacefully exact your marks.
IN EPFO 1 will be also correct. Allworkers are entitled in any type of employment.
Sabhi act bheja jata he yesa nhi likha gaya he . Act bheje jate hne , ye sach he . Usne British and India model me difference poocha he . British model me parliament supreme he waha yesa kuchh nhi hota lekin India me kabhi kabhi yesa hota he . Ab tk bahut sare act ko constitutional bench ko bheja gaya he . Abhi recently CAA iska example he .
Agr sirf constitutional amendment ko hi bheja jata to phir parliament to koi bhi act apne man se bana degi …. Phir to parliament hi supreme ho jayega lekin India me check and balance ka system he . Basic concept ka question he .
Ye ncert me he iss liye upsc ncert ke sath hi jayegi . Jaise right to vote k liye gayi .
just adding for knowledge -->UK has parliament supremacy and check and balance are well established within the UK parliament like higher accountability and shadow cabinet. opposition can question nearly everything unlike India. The speaker is actually neutral person so its removes bias as well. I think second statement would be wrong only if they used the extreme wordEVERY or ONLY . question is asking whether this procedure exist in India or not.
@Capedcrusader1 then how so many toppers this year are from classroom coaching program of vision and vajiram. Rank 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 10, etc. It's so confusing, some say coaching centres are on the decline while we see so many toppers from their classroom coaching program.
These topper actually join coaching 2018 or 2019 .Many of them self study despite of joining coaching and Many just joined a specific module like optional , essay , ANSWER writing or interview . self study with awareness is only key to crack upsc.
@harilal UK is unitary, not federal. India and Canada are quasi federal. True federation- US
UK constitution is unitary in nature but there exist a federalism where power is distributed between four countries instead of state but it isnotfederal due tosupreme nature of parliament. Its called Devolutionwhere power is gradually decentralizedand the parliament can take back power at any time through due process unlike federal state where state's statehood cannot be revoked without state consent.
