@bhuvanamalar1015412 people in my friend circle have had worse performance than the last year. Everybody in the range of 85-95 although most of them were 100+ last year. So let’s see which direction the wind blows.

@bhuvanamalar1015412 made 4 silly mistakes like saline lakes, ascending order of paragna suba sarkar etc etc. coupd have been avoided and i would have been easily sailed through. but this is the part of the process
@BhallaRobert i guess it will be more or less arpimd thblast year's! but then the answer keys have huge variation... so cant say exactly as per the current set of keys
@Hornbill "lethal quantities" is the keyword here i guess! though i have also marked all three but lethal quantities put it in different scenerio!

@bhuvanamalar1015412 exactly! but then this is the beauty of this exam that it dands intellect and knowledge and most importantly patience to avoid silly mistakes and no deep research.
@BhallaRobert i think anybody scoring 90+ with this key will sail through. 2-3 questikn will be right or wrong in upsc answer key from this one but scores will remain more or less same

@BhallaRobert excruciating is the process of wait! but i think you will sail through. focus on ethics and essay in meantime and keep yourself motivated for mains
@bhuvanamalar1015412 with so much confusion in answers across keys, even a person with 100+ score is not sure. and most confusing situation is with the people like me (score of 88) who despite numerous doubtful questions are hoping to get few more correct answers and a lower cutoff to qualify.
This year, I have seen so many "Veteran in UPSC'--->Making4-5 silly mistakes each (eg Bethun school, Right to privacy, ascending and descending order etc)
Few scoringabove 95+, they had differentmethods of cooperation...for eg Fearful of passing CSAT.....!!
Very very cooperative people.....loved it.
No doubt, Everyone is playing a significant rolein bring down cut-off to itshistoric lowto-->84.5-86.5 or Even DOWN (NO damn plus minus 2)

@javelinthrow thats true. But non-humanities dont face issue with it. not that major issue. But they tremble when they see quants questions which along with LR has been increasing its weightage. Not to mention they were much complex to reach the answer. I mean you couldnt solve in 2-3 steps. steps increased means panic in exam. thats my experience, I remeber that 60% marks question and one venn diagram question. ball drop one too.strangely i didnt hear all those cries of CSAT being very tough like last year.
exactly the last year cries were too louder and i have had a few known ones going out just becoz of the CSAT. This time people have played more or less safe.

@srivalliguru940 but the doubtfuls are already wrong as per the keys (particularly in my case). so i am telling the score exactly according to answer keys. there is no doubtful question which is right according to answer keys in my case!

alright. Because you see, we people generally come to know the answers of most of these doubtful questions based on past experience. But this time to my surprise I’m coming across good number of people who are taking all doubtful as wrong ! Something that generally doesn’t happen. This is Probably due to 2020 prelims marks.
no actually the case was similar last year. but there were less doubtful questions in last year which made people sure about answer keys more than this year
yeah. people have confusion regarding questions like indus river and magnetic particles etc which cannot be sustainable

@Strugglehard baaki 89 questions me to koi issue nahi hai na? I mean he referred 11 questions as doubtful for himself and named them, so all other 89 are settled?
@Rambo93 plusbthe peace is subjective. you tried your best and could not make it, is totally not disturbing. It should be the feeling of accomplishment as well as inspiration to do best and excel whatever you try!

No more speculating guys! The result is definitely coming on 29th as per the info provided by a credible source! 29th was the deadline UPSC set and the result was to be declared on 27th or 28th but magnitude of work has pushed it to last date. The info is available just fir the result date, my souce doesnt have any idea as to cutoff!
@assistant yeah but now that i have wished so much so that any negative result will cause much pain! The result will definitely come tomorrow but I just wish that luck favours us! how about your scores, plain as per insights/vision and not commenting like taking these these as negative! your plain score as per the key?
