Getting around 60
IF U WANT TO BE AN IAS, THEN ONLY DO THIS, else u will never-ever succed
1. Burn your NCERT, throw them in garbage
dear agaar aapkee 85 upsc answer key aa gayee toh aap selected hongeeWill start preparing for mains though lowest score is 84 from vision
But having economics as my optional and postgraduation subject I can say questions were not so saliable as few ones like lender of the last resort in which both govt and banks seems probable, along with it I got both RBI and UCB wrong so saying it was easy is unfair heat of the moment you can get easiest question wrong but nonetheless it was not easy all application based
One question on FDI I which I got stucked for the moment was FDI component have never heard GDR being part of it neither RBI data shows but then keys of the institutes are ultimate .
Personally I feel I should prepare as hunting for many keys is so mentally pressurizing better position this year have option of pHD as well.
All the best
Work hard .
how much r u scooring
why, last year did u succededI have dropped the exam this year !!
r u working is capf acwhy, last year did u succededI have dropped the exam this year !!
I gave interview twice in 2016 and 2018 and 2020 .. I failed pre. I usually take drop... I am already in Job. So depends.
sorry@sunnyleony No .. why anyone should work in CAPF if attempting upsc multiple times.Wrong guess Mate.
@gauravbrly409 Congrats bro.I remember last year u were motivating me that i may qualify.I didnt qualify back then but i will this year.
Being optimistic is the only thing we can afford, No matter things are hanging with strings.
Sorry that u failed to qualify last year. I wish all d best for this year mate.
what is their answer@Negan Thanks. But Shankar's key has several wrong answers like Saltuj, Right To habitat.
Here we are doing PhD on questions and this is what our future bosses think about us. UPSC bhi sayad aise hi sochta hai isliye quality of paper is declining over the years. Paradoxically every other day we get to hear one or other Babu being hired at top position by Pvt sector like phonepe or even Facebook india.
Do give your views on lateral entry - 9 to 31 to what next ?? Has babudom become the deep state ?
Indeed babudom was and is the deep state. It was always. Point is
1. We have closed bureaucracy system.
2. We have committed bureaucracy.
3. We have issues in politico-bureacratic relationship. Either it is as bad as khemka or become nexus.. Of course some are good but they cant fight collusion.
4. IAS association is itself a new elite club which protects the interest of IAS as a service along with its members. IAS association has brought but not pushed and advocated any honest reforms to cut the red tape, Make burecrats not to act Like god(kabhi kabhi lagta hai apan hi khuda h).
5. The DM as an institution dont want to delegate powers to democratic institution like Muni and PRI. (Though state have to do this by law but you know nexus). Imagine if Institution of DM is accountable to mayor for not doing any gud work ... in turn DM as institution will be accountable to immediate public .
This institution has upwards accountability to boss both burecratic and political.. but No instrument of acc in hand of public to held a rogue bureaucrat accountable. Lokpal was a paper tiger 🤣
6. Closed nature of bureaucracy in India - Once you get in you are all govt have. Even if u never update your skill even you are non efficient... You are never go to be fired in average case.
The bureaucracy should be open at senior level. It should not be captive of Babus hired by UPSC. UPSC should start opening more and more admin position in SCS(senior civil service) to be hired from Pvt sector or anywhere. We need talent, expertise and proficiency in admin in 21st century ... and of course ....The regular bureaucracy hired by UPSC ... is the average talented lot in long run(read about Peters plateau) in a big organization like Government.

RBI can provide , temporary loan to bank and govt on repo , immediate need!, call money!@sunnyleony just suggesting a possibility that maybe the Lender of Last resort in the brackets is intended only w.r.t the the immediate preceding term i.e. long-term loan to banks.

MOST OF THEM WERE PYQTaking a break from mains prep to catch up on the debates.
Cut-off prediction is difficult when your previous anchor point is unreliable, e.g. 2017->2018 (difficulty jump, first time below 100), 2018->2019 (EWS ka introduction), and 2019->2020 (pandemic year, new paper style, difficult CSAT paper, etc). But anyone who's given several of these attempts and has cleared somewhat consistently will have a good estimate of the main parameter that sets the cut-off, which is the difficulty. All the other factors - size of competition, number of seats, etc , exam attendance, are all secondary factors which mostly cancel each other out. There's no way to objectively definitively 100% state that paper was easier or harder, but if you've written multiple attempts and have cleared or gotten close to, you should trust your gut.I can 100% say that to my eye, both papers were harder than last year. I've never had any CSAT issues and even this year will not have any CSAT issues, but even while reading the paper I could tell that it was going to be difficult for people. Usually I attempt >70 questions, but last year could only manage 65 and this year only around 60 questions. CSAT was vague, had confusing conflicting passages, had tricky math questions that could easily eat up your time, etc etc. This is more so than last year. And GS paper was definitely tougher - new topic areas, hard questions ,vague questions, bad translations, etc. This idea that there are enough easy questions to push the cut-off up is laughable - everyone who wrote the paper knows the kind of mental pressure that occurs while writing and how easy it is to slip up on those sitters. I for e.g. skipped the Bethune question because it was right after the Gandhi question and I didn't have the nerve to tick the right answer, even though I'd circled it. The only point at which the paper would seem easier is in the few days afterwards, when you sit with the paper and curse yourself or watch the coaching centres gaslight you into thinking that your brain was wrong. It's a combination of anchoring effect, desire for risk mitigation, insecurity, etc etc.
Anyway, longwinded way of saying that I can definitely believe the assessment that the cut-off would drop by 2.5 questions (i.e. 5 marks) due to the GS paper, and another 1 question (i.e. 2 marks) because of the CSAT. I don't think the impact from reduced seats will be felt - some 500 lost places will hardly account for more than half a mark at the border and will be more than compensated for by the fewer number of people who would have written the exam with a decent level of preparation (I don't know about you guys but I know that the 2nd wave definitely impacted my own preparation).
Am taking Shankar, Hardworking Human, Kaptaan and Vision's rough benchmarks and trusting my own gut and have moved accordingly.I totally agree , paper seems to be easy only after exam , during exam literally it was so tough to handle it , in csat during first hour I could only solve 8 questions of maths ,,, later I ended up solving 48 ,,,,
And in paper one , there were surprisingly shocking questions which used to make mind nervous ,, I don't think anyone would have ever studied चौसठ योगिनी मंदिर , triclosan , right to city , water credit , the dynasty chronological question , the details of adenovirus and so on
To sum up paper was tough and those who took risk and holded nerves would sail

HOW MUCH U R SCORING, CONSIDORING ALL INCORRECT CORRECTim scoring decent but applied only for forest service. These questions matter !Wbu btw ?
sir, pardon from my side, but i would like to draw your kind attention to the 2019 question, related to "POULTRY RELEASES REACTIVE COUMPOUNDS " this stmt was considered correct by UPSCCarbon monoxide answer will be most probably 2&3 only because u people are focusing on word “MAY” only and not on word “LETHAL”. If I say may release than even .00001ppm makes it right but if I say may release lethal than it must breach lethal amount which is not the case
COACHING KEYS ARE CORRECT UPTO 98 %, PLS PREPARE FOR MAINS.
I am recognising most of the candidates, who are here for a long time.
Most of you guys come and fail, every year, no credibility of you and neyan or any one.
Yaha par kai log keh rahee hai, ki pichlee saal 1 number se reh gya kuch keh rahe hai 1 number se ho gayaa, yah 1-2 baar interview de diyaa.
you guys r fake
you spend your time on youtube, forum ias, bluff every body, some of you r in MGP of forum ias, and are trolling since a long time. Prachimalik saying that she was getting 90 in 2020, 85 in 2021, but she has no guts to show her real marksheet, so like most of you.
brabulli (i might be mistaken to write his id) he is saying paper of 2021 was tough, but guys 70% question are from pyq, in upsc cse, cds, nda, capf, pcs.
YOU GUYS R NOT EVEN ELIGIBLE TO PREPARE FOR THIS EAM, FIRSTLY BE TRUTHFUL. DO NOT FAKE YOUR IDENTITY.
you call everyone a troller
leave this preparation, UPSC is not for you
THANKS SIR@sunnyleony that statement of 2019 paper says- poultry industry releases reactive N2And therefore this was right and I was also right. If it would have said releases lethal reactive N2 than it must breach that lethal amount which makes it wrong.I hope u understand the word lethal. 🙂
