Hello all..
Pls share your score what u r getting in pre 2024..
On this basis we can get cut off..
@root cn u pinnthis thread so that we cn get better estimate of cut off..
Previous poll is very confusing.. everyone has marked attempting 90-95 questions..
Mine was also from the RBI website itself https://m.rbi.org.in/Scripts/bs_viewcontent.aspx?Id=2313#:~:text=9.4%20In%20order%20to%20ensure,in%20India%2C%20(ii)%20not
Yes, done under 2002 act, but the question asks how many Delimitation comissions have been set up?....From rbi website

@aryabhata there is also another question where I feel the official answer key might vary. According to RBI website primary dealers can participate in liquidity adjustment facility. And there are 7 primary dealers recognised by rbi as NBFCs. So that statement also sounds too ambiguous
Happens every year, even in 2022 where even for some seemingly non-controversial questions upsc gave an entirely different answer, helped a lot of people get past the cutoff, similarly some people lost 8-9 marks..
@tedmosby It may not be dropped & yes, out of other options, 4 seemed the best choice.....But to say the one constituted in J&K & even Assam for that matter are not Delimitation commissions and are the same as the 2002 commission, just because of the same act is just wrong.....In the actual exam when this strikes you, you simply leave the question.....My hunch is that they will stick with 4 as the answer; but unfair to those who left the question.....
It holds logically as well.
84th CAA, 2002 froze the seats till the Census to be conducted after 2026. So whatever Delimitation we are doing is according to the Delimitation Act of 2002 (i.e. acc to Census of 2001).
J&K and Assam are special cases as seats were not delimited back then.
I will be back!

The question is talking about NBFC in the general sense (PD is a very specific type of it). This source clearly says NBFCs don't have access to repo:https://www.ndtvprofit.com/global-economics/rbi-ready-to-be-lender-of-last-resort-for-nbfcs-but-its-not-needed-as-of-now-says-acharya
Remember there was a question on "all MSME eligible for PSL" last year and while one could find edge cases where this doesn't hold, the official key considered it to be true.
@Neyawn Wrote my first mains last year
I hope to write mains this year too. Had taken AWFG the previous year.
Would be taking MGP after the results.
Can you help with some specific pointers regarding ethics and essay especially?
Hello@Neyawn Sir,
I’m getting 117+ in GS but scoring around 72 in CSAT as per Forum key and 62 as per NextIAS. Most of the ambiguity is in comprehension part. How should I proceed?
The composition of the board of directors of WOS should meet the following requirements: not less than 50 per cent directors should be Indian nationals/NRIs/PIOs subject to the condition that one-third of the directors are Indian Nationals resident in India.
[Scheme for Setting up of Wholly Owned Subsidiaries (WOS) by foreign banks in India by the RBI](https://m.rbi.org.in/Scripts/bs_viewcontent.aspx?Id=2758)
Not less than fifty per cent of the directors should be Indian nationals /NRIs/PIOs subject to the condition that not less than 1/3rd of the directors are Indian Nationals resident in India.”
[RBI PRESS RELEASE 2013-2014/936 Date: Nov 06, 2013](https://www.rbi.org.in/Scripts/BS_PressReleaseDisplay.aspx?prid=29922)
So the answer then makes statement 2 which says "more than 50% of the directors should be Indian nationals" wrong cause they can be foreign nationals (PIOs) too but UPSC probably just picked this from an article and has the wrong answer which is why a representation needs to be filed
