@mickeyviru source please. Any references?? Wiki, spectrum or any textbook??
@mickeyviru thank you Bhai.
@Chanakya thanks
@thepolicydreamer want to hug you.
@ArpitaJ absolutely not.. useless note..there study material is of no use. I bought their subscription and revised all their contents thoroughly. Whatever topics they are claiming actually no where related to the UPSC questions.
@Obaid True.
How to tame UPSC pre..
1. Do study with a proper group. (Ideally 3+ people). One member should monitor conventional newspaper articles and related GKs.
2. Another fellow will keep a tab on social media handles of government offices and collecting absurd unusual "do you know that" kind stuffs .
3. One fellow will study with agriculture students of any agri deemed university and should prepare for agri net/JRF along with them.
4. Another fellow should work at a kisan call center & veterinary distress cells.keep record of all unusual questions asked by farmers, zoo keepers & animal enthusiasts..we can expect next year upsc may ask question like " after how many days new born calf starts chewing the grass" etc.
5. History--
Ancient & mediaeval- no need to mug up who was what,,what was socio, political set up nd conventional history questions..just gather all unusual terms associated with history (just names that's all)..care should be taken whatever the coaching walas have already given in their compiled sheet that should be thrown away in dustbins and you should look for newer terms.
For Modern history-- don't waste time.
6. In future coaching materials should be the reference point of what aspirants should ignore completely.. whatever coaching walas are giving,be 100% assured that upsc won't ask any single thing from those notes..don't waste money on these stuffs,, instead UPSC wants aspirants like us to make "aatmanirbhar". Aatmanirbhar to guess random questions.
7.practice question papers/test series--
Instead of solving PYQ or costly n useless test series of coaching walas,,just solved random question paper of totally peculiar subjects about which you don't have any clue..eq. suppose if you are a B-tech graduate then take the MCQ based question paper of some history, geography JRF question paper and try to solve it..solve it not to enrich your knowledge but to sharpen your intelligent guessing/tukkebaazi. To master the art of tukkebaazi visit local temple/mosque/gurudwara regularly. Better to have a personalized Baba tantrik for that purpose,,invest your coaching fee on these tantrik Babas..RoR will be better than coaching institutes.
Black magic se hi hoga ab prelims.if anyone knows any good tantrik baba please share it for benifit of all aspirants.
