@ pizza is a guy from time of newayn and yoyo choti Singh.. Forum ias old discussion group.. There revision threads was a blessing before pre and mains.. Like many times before exam we don't feel like to open books.. And their contribution to threads was amazing..
His tests are actually amazing.. Aspirants used to ask him to allow them to register even after admission being closed.. As seats used to get filled immediately
And lastly - this is a field - jisme aapka jabh tak na ho jayei ( until one himself or herself get selected) .. Tabh tak.. Atleast tabh tak( until then) .. Dont make fun of others or be offensive.. Because when one start preparation.. no one wishes to go for subsequent attempts..

2. Static revision - just read those thread and there was no need to read spectrum etc..
3. Important topics for pre or mains
4. Group efforts for secure-like people used to come together and summarize insights secure.. One person was assigned 3 days questions..and in return get 3 months secure summary of 3 months... Summarize (not just copy paste - if done tat used to be asked to do again if want summaries of others) and sharing.. As tat time insights not provided model answers.. So students used to upload their answers only..
5.lesson learnt after prelims and mains.. Like yoyo choti Singh sir before his selection his advise was ke for every word in syllabus make a short note.. Nd in his language - " Abhi kar loh.. Nahi toh next yr karna parega result ke Baad "
Conclusion is reviving tat won't be much useful... As that time internet youtube nd other sites upsc specific site boom was not there in upsc..
Summaries used to be done by aspirants and not in form of 356 or pt special or mains special ( quality wise tat was good..)
Help was freely provided.. Relations were more personal and close though anonymous .. Which actually helped.. Like I still remember of Dr King tat he was a dentist.. Was planning to go abroad for further studies after result of upsc tat yr.. Or yoyo sir.. His struggle with haryana pcs.. Getting lowest marks in pub ad tat Yr from hpsc.. Or even him giving hcs pre last yr.. And getting 104 rank in upsc same yr.. People were anonymous but relations were not..
