[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

@Esha2020 don't bother about the mocks.....if you are confident enough that your basics are strong go for it. Keep revising.
If anything do swot analysis of your mocks...revise the weak portion( depending on return of interest - RoI). Identify your peak like there is a range in which people can maximize their marks which generally lies in 80-85 questions range....you can be one of those confident ones who doesn't try guess work and generally get solid marks(75 questions range student) or one who relies on her aptitude to eliminate options and choose the most apt one(above 85 questions).....everyone's peak vary...identify yours....try to maximize postive scores in environment and economy because no matter what they will carry a significant amount of weightage in the paper.
Rest its your call.

All the best!!!

How much time UPSC takes to issue the corrected admit card. Do they reply in case of e-mail, how to ensure that they have got the mail and I would be receiving the corrected admit card.

Pleader for postponement are sounding absurd. Their arguments are vague and unsubstantiated.

Even they didn't defend the basic point that under these circumstances the well off are better positioned than the aspirants from poor background.

The court argued that all students are equally situated.

@Patootie actually the tone of SC sounded like argument.
It  felt like the judge was scolding the pleaders to behave.
You are not students you are professionals. :P

On a positive note UPSC agreed on attempt compensation for final attempt aspirants.

What conclusion can be drawn from second line "about to cross the age limit"?

This post is too dedicated to its moto....was initially started 5 months back to discuss prelims postponement and now with 3 days remaining for Prelims still discussing the same.

Worst part is denying someone to appear in exam....after putting in so much for years and years if a candidate possess high temperature just a day before exam he would not be allowed to appear. I am not able to see the basic judicial rationale in this verdict.

Although I too didn't wanted any further postponement but why only UPSC aspirants are expected to be embodiment of moral principles.

@Patootie How will anyone come to know about diagnosed case.....thermal screening is done outside every centre.

@Jokar This happened in UP State exam...people with temperature above 100 were not allowed to write the exam even if they have written the first shift they were not allowed in second shift.
I wish UPSC to be considerate enough.

@rafael see no one knows the precise SOP or rules that UPSC would follow.
All these are mere guesses only. Considering the repute of UPSC i think they will be considerate enough and accomodate the interests of those suffering with COVID.

Fingers crossed.

@SergioRamos yesterday late night I was about to post on this but anyhow stopped myself feeling that I must not disturb others in these crucial three days but I am feeling really uneasy, may be exam anxiety but how the officials behaved, how DM HATHRAS behaved, are we going to do the same if so, then I really don't want to be part of this system. So much of hard work and sacrifice just for sake of bootlicking of political masters.
