[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

I have a bad feeling, shankar is going to predict high cutoffs tomorrow. Much more than our expectations :pensive:

According to vision analysis, no of easy questions this year were much more than last year
2020 stats : Easy questions : 32                           2019 stats : Easy questions : 23
                   Medium questions : 32                                         Medium : 38
                   Difficult questions : 36                                           Difficulty : 39
On the outset, paper may have looked difficult , but people are getting inflated scores due to tukkebaazi ( sciene all Ds, extreme statement is wrong and all )

@chelseaboy what i mean is , 2 or 3 marks decrease after taking into account, if csat had been easier and not 2 or 3 marks less from last years paper

A formula has been going around for calculating cutoff , which has given pretty accurate results since last 4 years
Cutoff =( 2* nof of easy questions) + ( 1* medium questions) + (1/3* diffcult questions )

@jvr if other documents can be used, then how is aadhar mandatory ?

@jvr i know what you are saying. That just makes aadhar a primary document and not "mandatory" . If it would have been mandatory, other documents would not have sufficed. There is no forcing by government to them to enroll in aadhar for benefits . They can't deny benefits because they don't have aadhar. Here focus is on "mandatory"

@VivekanandS Well , if they can't deduce it from a text straightforward lifted from Ishita banerjee's book, I don't know what to say. Regarding shankar's key, they had 7 of their answers wrong last year. They are good at predicting cutoffs though. I remember during 2016 when every coaching said paper was easy and it would go at max around 109,  shankar had predicted 114. Shankar's final key isn't the gold standard. So don't beat yourself up about it too much.

@rafael Yes, this source only confirms answer as D. Thanks Percival . As regarding question of 2017 prelims, one has to mark the most appropriate option out of given. The rest options were extremely ridiculous and hence the answer was - A  citizen whose name appears in voter roll. But  here, there was no such case.
Even I have marked it as A and I'm very sure, it is wrong and taking it as negative
