My UPSC journey is over today & finally its time for me to focus on my job instead of chasing this wild goose. I was lucky in 2016(142), 2017(121) & 2018(107) to clear prelims but not this time around (83+- 2 Shankar).
In the end I have nothing much to regret except that I stagnated my corporate career for ''a higher purpose'' but overall it was a good journey.
Few passing remarks-
1) Luck plays a role in each and every stage- you cant ignore it.
2) Never quit job for this exam- I solved ~ 100 Mocks this time ( more than in my previous attempts given the extra time) while being in a regular job but in the end all my 5 years summed upto a big zero today. So quitting job wouldnt had made any difference except more financial and mental pain for myself and family over the years.
3) Getting right guidence and company right from beginning is crucial; i wasted 2 mains without good mains prepration.
