its straight and simple if you are not in favour of upsc cse conducting on 4th because cases are increasing then either you withdraw your candidature or don''t appear.
1. your dad or bro sis must be going out for job daily in this same situation despite this you are putting forward how going to exam center will increase your chances of infection and family members.
ps :my dad is going out every day and my bro is working he has to go out every day. your family memebrs must be doing same for your food and ease living.
2. when risk comes form everywhere then i choose career over life,for me career is more important than life. so it depends on individual what matters for them(but i gave you logic how your dad or bro sis going out daily for your comfort living). upsc gave you option to withdraw your form in case you dont want to appear.

are going out for jobs that includes public transport travel workign with large customers as banks staffs. why are you so worried about your health by a single day of exam?are we ambani or birla? if we are we wont apply upsc ever we are of middle class .i am sorry for my harsh words to all the members. corona is real and rude i know but everyone should stop their bro sis and dad mom from going to their jobs. ofcousre they use publc transport , crowd in offices as bankers , shop owners, which job gives no corwd at all? even if you are DM IPS or whatever.

bhai i came to a conclusion that we are left with exactly 63 or 64 days in hand we will make it if we give our best if we doubt about exam date we wont able to pass prelims. assume 4th oct is the date..

this is the reality we aspirants are made to wait for the sake of covid spread measures and others keep outing .this is the real scenario of mumbai. directly watch at 4.10 mnts. i just want to express that when everything is running with ease why not exams with standard SOP.
may 31st was better than oct 4th
oct 4th will be better than dec 31st
dec 31st will be better than march 2021

Bhai I would like to add one thing that private buses are plying effectively inside states transportation does not mean only railways and flights. My kin came from different district to my city by bus. Also in Rajasthan too it's running wherever you name it I will tell you buses even AC deluxe or whatever normal buses. Dont only read theory ki trains bnd h bhaiyo buses chal thi h full swing me..chk out in your states.
