[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

@sunnykumarroy658377 Bro, in the ULB question, I feel the answer should be A only. The passage has been picked from this article

And the author here has stressed upon charging the consumers.

@Tokyo Yeah that's true but probably they are wrong on this.

@sunnykumarroy658377 In digital society wala question it should be A) 1 and 2, though I marked it as 2 only. It has again been picked from an article where the author talks about institutional intervention from the Govt.

And going by the same methodology, malnutrition waale mein B) 2, 3, 4 and 5 should probably be the answer. What do you say?

@Devanapiyam I marked it as 3 only and still I feel it should be 3 only. What's your opinion?

@Aurang_mirasudar Excellent work brother! I'd be thankful if you could clear one doubt I have. In question on malnutrition, the article you have mentioned talks about "delay of marriage, breastfeeding, safe drinking water and vaccination" as solutions. Couldn't find monitoring of PDS by Union Govt anywhere. So, don't you think answer should beB) 2, 3, 4 and 5instead of A) 1, 2, 3 and 4 ?

I have a score of 72 -75 in CSAT from various keys and above 110 in GS paper-1..Chances of me clearing CSAT?Giving me sleepless nights..

U can check revised key of shankar ..they have updated csat key...score will increase .

It has increased my marks to 85 from current 75. I still think that 3-4 passages are a bit wrong like that Asset allocation, malnutrition etc. But I think I will keep running around in circles by checking different answer keys as in every key I am getting 70+ so I should be safe. Should start mains prep asap.

Same here but articles given by@Aurang_mirasudar  are real source....I cross checked with 2019 paper ..by looking into articles ..and upsc takes answers from that articles....assumption is first line verbatim around the image....so if u want to check answers which upsc will give...it is written in articles provided by aurang.

Yeah his articles are real source and with that too I am getting 75. I doubt I will fail in this. Never thought it would come to that. I was confident when I came out of the exam hall but later realized that I had done silly mistakes in 2 quant questions and few quant questions I had left because they felt intimidating in exam hall but were much easier to do. Nevertheless, hope things turn out to be okay.

Bhai log, one last thing before I start mains prep. Passing marks in CSAT is 66 or 67? I mean in the worst case scenario I might end up with 66.67, so just asking!

Qualifying marks in CSAT is 33% of 200 i.e 66 only

It's 1/3rd not 33%.

Who told you its 1/3!!.  Avoid guessing factual information if u r not informed. Check notification

If in notification it's 33% well and fine it would be 66. I always thought it was 1/3rd. May be I am wrong.
