does upsc csat answer key differ from various coaching keys? have to get 11 correct out of 21 RC questions to clear csat but through various keys getting only 10 correct.

@Muqaddam in total i did 44 (23apti+21 RC),
In apti i am getting 20 correct out of 23,
in RC getting 10 correct  out of 21 through various keys.
So,  In total 30 correct, need 1 more correct in RC to qualify csat

Its better not to get into discussions of pre now and get into the mode of mains preparation. There are lot of debatable questions(atleast 6-10)whose discussions never end. Jo hona tha ho gaya, ab sidha UPSC vedict dega.

There are disputed questions, lets see what upsc will do. Till then assume that you are in the safe zone aur mains prep shuru krte hai.

The way prelims pattern has changed, cut off is bound to get reduced by atleast 5 marks. The people who are getting between 95-100 can't be damn sure of clearing prelims because upsc key will be definitely different from coaching keys due to hell lot of controversial questions. Few of my friends who were getting 104-106 through coaching keys (in prelims 2019) couldnt clear . Even mrunal sir  keys, 3 got wrong in 2019. Lets not depend on coaching  keys solely. and wait for the prelims result.

From January onwards, it is current account surplus and merchandise trade export is more than import

UPSC has specifically written "AT PRESENT", so it might go with c) 3 only. 


dont know how coaching wala is taking 1, 3,4 whereas byju has taken it as 3only

@Aurang_mirasudar yaha already non financial sector likha hua hai bhai. according to your article all correct hota but upsc k question me sirf non financial debt likha hai which can be both debt held by non financial sector OR debt taken from non financial sector. 
It depends on upsc interpretation, though i feel upsc 3only manega.

This time it is very difficult to trust answ keys especially for questions on blockchain, AI, non financial debt, gene, govt trading. One cannot simply assume science tech hai so all remaining correct after elimination. 

What ever score you are getting through keys, real score will be either high or low.

My take on cut off: 92-94 considering people writing mains will be lower than last year. 

and those who are in the range 100-110 of coaching answer key, do not trust them. Change in 4-5 questions can bring down your score drastically. Has happened with many of my friends last year.

AI answer is simply not all. Just check out the songs made by AI on youtube and see people's comment ,you will definitely find it has no meaning.


Gene question I marked 2 and 3 thinking, how can changes be introduced in ovary or testes in a human body. Though changes can be introduced in eggs and sperm. I am still not able to get proper answer of this. 


Blockchain question - permissioned blockchain is there, and even if lets say a bank want to utlize blockchain technology, wont it take permission from anyone? so ans can be 1 only. 


Is government trading and oms same? i marked government trading wrong.

@rafael germ cell /germ line therepy means genetic changes in germ cell (sperm or egg), it doesn't mean changes in cells producing germ cell(egg,sperm). Though i may be wrong but i haven't got anything which specifically says germ line therepy brings genetic changes in testes or ovaries. (which produce germ cell)

Hi guys, I need some suggestions. I did btech in ece(2019) from jiit. Took a drop and prepared for CSE for 1year and still could not clear prelims. Though there are no financial constraints, but the uncertainty of this exam is haunting me so much that i am literally confused what to do now. whether to take up a job (most probably in the IT sector) and then prepare for this exam or I take a drop again and prepare? Then of course the gap would become 2 years and don't know whether IT sector gives job to those with 2yr gap.
