Revision technique

Revision is Hardwork and Hardwork is revision. @Neywan Sir has rightly said.. it is one of the uncomfortable ground for me..

These days i am meeting lot of people using anki and tons other tools for revision. While i don't think the role of memory is that much in prelims as it is say - Masters / MS post doing a degree in medicine, still that choice could have been put. That way we would have some surprises.

Mains is more about how you present your answers, how you structure them, whether you fulfill the demand of the question or are you beating around the bush.. It is about articulation, that has less to do with cramming and more to do with understanding. 
IMO, anki for mains is relevant only for active recalling of facts/committees/case studies etc.  (Others may disagree)
At the end of the day, mains involves practice in answer writing and finishing all the papers on time in best possible way..
