Should I skip NCERT 6-10 and read only 11 and 12 for Geography?

Some say read from class 6 - class 12.  Some say class 11 and class 12 are enough. Any clarification would be much appreciated.

9-12 NCERT suffices.

Finish priority wise

1. 11th NCERT

2. 12th- India People Economy

3. 6th Ncert

4. Just scan through rest, would not offer anything new.

Begin backwards. Do the 11th and 12 the NCERT first. If you have time, you do whatever you like. Questions generally come from this part of the syllabus.

If you do 6-10th NCERT and get bored of Geography or run out of time, and miss out on 11th and 12th you will be in deep trouble.

Do selective chapters from it. The Coral Reefs and all that. Turn the pages once you will know what is important and what is not.

I will suggest that you keep past 20 years paper with you while reading so that you know has been asked before and prepare accordingly.
