Is it advisable to travel to Delhi to collect Books? IAS Aspirants

I had come home (in Maharashtra) from Delhi in the third week of March with very few books to take a break after coaching ended. I've been managing somehow ever since then. Now I really need my notes and books and luggage as I'm going to leave Delhi and shift to my city. (been paying the exorbitant rent as well :/ ) Please suggest an economic and reliable mover and packer (along with rates, if known). Rules say that I need to be quarantined for 7 days if I fly to Delhi. Is this rule applicable to such situations as well? Or is there any special permission that can be obtained for circumstances like such, as my travel is only for 1 or (max.) 2 days?

[I will definitely stay there for the required quarantine period but just want to know if any such exceptional provisions are known to any of you?]

P.S. - I'm aware it's not ideal to travel given what's happening around us but my landlord isn't the most amazing person in the world and I need to travel by the end of this month and get my stuff back or else I'll have to pay rent for the next month (and coming months). Also because there is a predicted spike in number of cases in July, we can assume that post covid-19 world is a distant reality for now. I really need to make this travel asap, so any comments discouraging me to do so are really impractical, so please refrain from it. I'm not particularly thrilled to go on this adventure either.

@Phagocyte Will do. Is Safeexpress charging Rs. 50 per kg?

Bluedart quoted Rs 4000 for 100 kgs (door to door). Packing will have to be done by ourselves. They won't provide cartons.

I am also in the similar situation. If anyone has any clarity regarding rules for travelling to Delhi by one's own vehicle and returning back on the same day, please do post. Does one still need passes to enter and exit Delhi ( Delhi-Noida border, Delhi-Gurgaon border) ?

Get help from some frnd etc...to supervise packing etc...if frnd not possible maybe pay someone aspirants or otherwise... definitely just gng n coming flights n other expenses doesn't seem reasonable..koi toh reliable banda hoga hi.

Also wrt covid...if delhi manages to survive through July by end of which I guess we'll over half of its population be affected it probably become safe as jisko hona tha hoga gya n voh zinda bach gya...plus transmission chains also will break.. probably on that basis I am continuing in orn..

I've decided to get my books parceled by Gati. They come home pack things and parcel at a very reasonable price. Got positive feedback from a decent number of friends

@Agog  bhai cases ka risk is for everyone ..bigger the city more exposr the life larger is the risk....rest it's a personal decision...also I guess lot of ppl who are going home may very well got infected n wud have recovered...

Btw personally why  I am here ...I don't have any comorbidities etc plus brought one pulse oximeter...why...go through icmr latest guidelines ( if ur Saturation is maintained above 95%) practically hospital are not doing much plus previous danger of silent hypoxia...

Lastly orn at risk due to Gangaram...I didn't see any containment site near orn..rest of mobility is allowed anywhere in delhi is at risk when u expose ur self...I don't wanna expose parents etc but yes if u have a place at small town or village with relatively limited exposure makes sense...otherwise delhi sply by July mid to end shud be better placed than other major cities

@dusrath123  rest it's entirely a personal choice... sure in metros n ahemdabad except probably blore today there probably is community transmission . So those u have option to go n have alternative plz do go...but mortality in our age grp aren't so high . But wherever u go keep taking necessary precautions..

@dusrath123 so if u have a option to go u may go...But if u stay pulse oximeter can provide decent guidance. Also breathing exercise, vit c( amla, lemon etc), vit d n stuff like chavan prash alongside do avoid junk food....but wherever ur do not panic n avoid meeting senior citizens or those with serious conditions....we definitely are not the prime  group under risk....so while taking precautions don't panic ..plus if needed get covid specific health insurance that give u some financial protection... lastly I hope the availability of hospital beds with Atleast option of oxygen is not a issue..that's the only thing I hope govt focusses as of now... With better data collection so next city have more info compare to delhi

I recently travelled for business purposes, looking for good business partners. I was lucky to find https://businessclassconsolidator.com/destinations/business-class-flights-to-europe-uk-london/ , a service that sells very favorable tickets. So I managed to fly business class to Europe for a very low price.
