So I just wrote an Essay FLT The topic was interesting- "Too much democracy is detrimental to development".
However, I feel otherwise.
Although I've mentioned few points regarding democracy being detrimental to development (eg Plato and Aristotle called it mobocracy, policy paralysis and all), but I've given a substantial part of my essay to why this essay statement is only partially true by explaining slowing Chinese growth as highlighted by Hal Brands and Ruchir Sharma.
My question is, whether we can write an essay that argues otherwise, or we just have to stick rigidly to the "belief" imposed upon us by the essay topic?
