Financial Year is 1st April to 31st March.
Now that FY Year April'19 to March'20 hasn't ended yet, how can you assess the income for the year.
So it had to be FY April'18 - March'19 for the year 2019-2020.
Kindly recheck. If you've obtained it in January, it'd be of FY 18-19 only.
If you are sure that you can get your EWS made before March 31st, you will be eligible and can opt for the same in the form.
And if you couldn't get it made, would be unable to prove thereof; Consequently, your candidature would be cancelled as far as I know.
The last date to 'fill' the form is March 3rd
I've mentioned March 31st to obtain the certificate by then. Because any time after, it would assess the income of FY 19-20 which will be invalid here.
Now, you've to see weather to opt for EWS Category or not when you'd fill the form.
ps. Certificate is to be submitted at the time of mains.
