What do you include in your Register of Errors after SFG test?

I divide SFG questions into 4 categories:

1. Attempted correctly and had no doubt

2. Marked as doubtful during the exam but attempted correctly (answer was correct just because of informed guessing or pure luck, but I did not really know the answer with 100% surety)

3. Attempted incorrectly with/without marking as doubtful

4. Didn't attempt - had no idea (I mark them as doubtful too)

I include 2, 3 & 4 in my Register of Errors (RoE). Most of the time I write the entire question with options and write the correct answer below it (not the whole solution, only the correct answer). However, 2, 3 & 4 together make up nearly 30 questions (plus or minus 5), so end up essentially copying 60% of the questions in my RoE. This takes alot of time(5-8 hours, because I am also adding some detailed solutions to my old notes).I don't think that I am doing the right thingbecause my entire day is now gone in this and by 4-5 PM, next day's SFG is knocking the door already.What is your approach? What do you include in RoE and how much time do you give to it, and to the overall 'post-mortem' of the test in general?

This also leads to another issue - If I know which questions I did wrong and which ones I marked as doubtful,shouldn't I just print all SFG test papers, and mark the questions of category 2, 3 & 4 for future revision? Or just copy paste these questions in a separate word file and only print them for future revision ?

Last question:For those who are making an RoE -When do you revise it?Like every other day, or weekends or something else?

@Neyawn Sir please help.

This is something you can figre out for yourself. You must only focus on ideas/ facts  concepts that you did not know or knew to be wrong. It should be brief , concise notes, almost like a rough notebook.

Do not include things you already know/knew. It should be like What-I_learned-from-this test book

@Vijaydaksha

Hey, I found your question very genuine. let me add few points based on my experience.

presently, I am an SFG member and faced the same problem initially.

The register of error thatI have made - based on 1-1 strategy ->means one test one pageapproach

after giving every test on that same day a page of RoE consist following things-

1. how manyquestions I did right & wrong?

2. reason for low score?

->is it revision deficiency or lack of knowledge or reading error or pressure oranything.

3. what could be solution to improve / suggestion?

4. highlight the key topics that you made wrong?

5. whereI mademistakes - factual content or general understanding.

note: to raise theabove question are really important it will tell you broad areas that you need to cover rather than focusing on things narrowly. I am attaching photocopy of 2-3 test RoE. Please add few suggestion to it if any@Neyawn .

after doing this, I feel one need to study for next test. after completing all 45 test on 19th Feb., one must devote time for revision and notes making. notes can be made of 2 type - factual notes and conceptual notes.

Factual notes should be very crisp and to the point with no general content. Eg. battle of buxar - year, personality.  ->revise minimum 20 times! ->can be crisp per subject 20-30 pages/ subject.

Conceptual notes should be having general idea. Eg. battle of buxar - reason, outcome. ->4-5 times min. revision may suffice. ->can be little bulky ->50-60 pages / subject

I hope this may address your holy question.
