Coaching centres and their irresponsible keys...

Every one has considered lubricants have hfc because of this article.
The HFC-type hydraulic fluids are water-glycol hydraulic fluids. They contain around 40-45% water. Condat offers CONDAT GUARD C46, with a formulation specially adapted to meet customer requirements in terms of lubrication, fire-resistance and biodegradabilityhttps://www.condat-lubricants.com/product/oils/hydraulic-oils/fire-resistant-hydraulic-fluids/hfc-hydraulic-fluids/

HFC in that random article doesn't stand for hydorfluorocarbons at all....It stands for hydraulic fluids. EVerywhere lubricants are a seperate product used in HFC refrigerant systems....Just because HFC and lubricants are appearing in the same place doesn't mean lubricants have hydrofluorocarbons in them.

In contrast, there is a research article which shows how hfc in a lubricant actually decreases its lubricity and increased wear and tear of the machinery.

Please attach the source where it is mentioned hfcs are used in spray based lubricants. I would agree with you if I see it.

This paper clearly shows which hfc can be used as lubricants. So the answer definitely will be D.

In the whole document, "local migration" doesn't appear even once

I am not going to argue what the paper setter thought. I can never know.

Coming to the document, I went through it....and could not find 'migration at local level' anywhere. Can you please point it out for me?
I could only see things like "local authorities" or "achieving SDGs at local level".

I am sorry to say this. But GCM appears to be concerned exclusively with international migration. And it looks like it does not wade into how countries manage internal migration. Thanks for finding the document, but in the document too there is no mention of internal migration.

FYI, even I have marked A.

BTW guys,

the question about money bill and finance bill.....all the coaching institutions are going overboard and giving A as answer. In the hindi version of the question, they have used "vittha vidheyak" which means financial bill.... Though the english question can be interpreted in different ways , the hindi version is pretty clear. So the answer would be C. All three.

This is the only question I would contend with, vis a vis Forum's key and Vision's key.

2.9k views

yup

in that question.........it is only a question of interpretation.
Do you consider "finance bill" as only article 110 or......as an umbrella term for article 117(1), 117(3) and article 110.

There are many many many...( I mean sooo many places where it is used as umbrella term). I can show u atleast 50 instances where it is written "every money bill is finance bill......but not every finance bill is money bill". I mean even in official sources like prs website.

Now....looking at the hindi version, in the constitution itself......article 117 is called vittha vidheyak........so, since english key cannot differ with hindi key.., upsc is going to either consider it so, i.e all three correct......or realise they have confused the aspirant and consider both interpretations as correct.

There is no doubt about this question. It is definitely 'All three'. If upsc is kind enough....they could consider the confusion and consider both options as correct.

They should have just mentioned the articles in the question.

yeah.....if the interpretation for 'finance bill' is financial bill.......then its like ordinary bill no......joint sitting needs to happen in case of deadlock.

2.2k views
Exactly...... Finance bill is an umbrella term for all 110, 117(1) and 117(3). So, UPSC should have formulated the question better.

Now, i will show you many articles in everyday news where they consider finance bill as something other than money bill .

BUT IT DEFINITELY IS NOT "THE FINANCE BILL,2023" which coaching institutes are quoting. THE FINANCE BILL, 2023 is the name of the bill...... not type of the bill...its a money bill....like CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL was a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT bill...... "THE FINANCE BILL, 2023"  is not the only finance bill right..... every financial bill is also a finance bill.......so, both answers should be correct. Both interpretations should be correct.

yeah........could be..... joint sitting need not be mandatory i guess. B could also be right.
I had thought 'JS  becomes necessary to pass the bill'......it is not mandatory definitely. It is not given anywhere that prez is obligated to call for a JS.

Hopefully UPSC doesnt get so technical about the language.

3.8k views

I think that is "THE FINANCE BILL' which is a money bill.

Though, in a language sense also.... you can argue that ' a joint sitting becomes necessary for financial bill in case of disagreement between LS and RS' . I think upsc just wanted to ask if joint sitting provision is there or not.

Anyway......Jai UPSC . Massive respect for their wording of questions. Agar ye question jayega, tho jaaye....

3.6k views

I mean........budget document "THE FINANCE BILL" should be passed in 75 days.... I think...

The squirrels question too.....

"Indian squirrels" is given.......India has so many types of squirrels... Himalayan marmot has nests in burrows.....they bury nuts and are omnivores.

But I dont think UPSC is going to accept this argument. Unka apna hi hotha hai.

I contacted the UN body spokesperson regarding the GCM question. They replied back. This settles the GCM question.

The answer would be D. None. This is the reply.

  • No it doesn't. IDPs are out of the scope of the GCM. However

  • One action recommended by Member States is to integrate displacement considerations into disaster preparedness strategies.

  • Recap: GCM only covers migration issues. Refugees and IDPs fall outside its scope. Which exam are you taking?

Guys,

kisi ne wo China India proportion of irrigated land pe representation file ki hai kya?

P.S: Options debate nahi karna tha.......Bas ye jaan na tha ki log sirf yaha pe discuss karthe hai ya representation bhi file karthe hai.

P.P.S: I have filed representation on that finance bill and money bill Q

3.3k views

That finance bill can be interpreted as umbrella term for money and financial bills.......I put in many sources to validate........so.......C should also be a possible answer.
Coming to the statement 3 of that question, "joint sitting become NECESSARY " thing........I felt and till now feel "In case of disagreement between LS and RS, JS becomes necessary to pass the bill..
So filed for them to consider both interpretations and consider both A and C. I put sources for both. And argued how a candidate can interpret both ways.

bakwaas zindabad.....

Kitna bakwaas seh loge sab......last year hi 13090 log pre qualify kiye the..... (abhi google kiya maine).

This year the number has to be higher..... Ye log jo bakwaas idhar udhar post karthe rehthe hai, thoda logically karle....

waise 8000 actually ka kya hi meaning hai.

Mujhe ye bhi nahi lagtha aaj aayenge results......Agar Saxena sir (didnt know who he was till yesterday) has put his name to it and claimed around 12th June ( unlike anonymous updates) , thats probably true.

Thoda tho hum bhi UPSC pe faith rakhle ki itna random stupidity nahi karenge.....ki without proper deliberation jaldi me results de de......

Why have a frenzy about this kind of updates.

zara socho.....

If the cutoff of SC ST category is falling too low........and UPSC decides ki UR me hum 1:12 le lenge.... par SC me 1:10....ye tho discrimination ho gaya na.....
Decisions like this get stuck in legitimate legal troubles...No?

If the ratio is constant.....last year se zyada log pre qualify honi chahiye.......If they decrease the ratio overall .., then the gap between UR and SC cutoffs will be the same.
My point is simple...Ye 'insider sources' are doing bullshit using all the frenzy of aspirants. Attention tumhara......revenue unka.
