[official][prelims 2023] How was prelims result? In or out?

considering all doubtful negative, 78 bn rhe hain.

Need these questions flipped in my favour:

Msme (ALL loans ko mainey incorrect kiya hai)

"Successful coup" ki jgah southward expansion of sahara (SAHEL) precisely because sudan was in news due to unsuccessful coup

Carbon markets (mainey don't shift resources kiya hai)

Schedule areas (only 1 kiya hai because pesa k baad IMO panchayat in a village is lowest area)

Gandhak vs buri gandhak (only 1 true kiya hai)

Prisons act ke (2nd statement false ki hai)

Mercury (kuch to safe limit hogi hi..... mercury ko haath lgaya hai kuch nhi hua

I know this is useless at this time, lekin fir bhi koi Dilasa de skta hai?

@Srinjay Maybe you are right
But where is the successful coup in Chad. It definitely failed . Seedha coup likhta upsc. Doston how are you dealing with so much ambiguity in answer keys? Considering all negative aap logon ke 90 bn rhe hain?

Doston please thodi si apne friend circle ki update de do. There is no one around me. I don't know how much people are scoring. I don't know if I will cross the line. Very anxious. 🥺

@Srinjay that is impressive. While I understand, nobody really knows, lekin fir bhi, do you see cutoff falling to higher 70s by any chance?

Since 28th...have been losing 2.67 marks daily😂

started with 90 & now reached 78

I don't know, have a feeling ki ye questions mere khilaf hi jayenge is baar

(42nd amendment mark kiya hai)

Schedule area me only -1...(lga village lowest hai)

state exemped from preventive detention me only 2 kiya hai

HFCs me All (lubricants bhi)

due process me fairness

prison me statement 2 wrong

gandhak me (only1 kiya hai....want bhuri gandak to be correct).

carbon markets me second statement galat mark ki hai.

mercury me socha koi to safe exposure hogi hi......)

they are all probably wrong😔

I badly wanted to write mains this year....lekin ab gut feeling is, will probably fall short.....🥺

Is baar upsc ne kiya kya hai............

How stupid was successful coup question.........."successful" is such a subjective word..............mainey sabsey pehle isi option ko cross kiya because of recent Sudanese "unsuccessful" coup...........chad me bhi same situation...............this is unfair...........

@Sangaideer don't know what the final answers would be

but in the exam, I've done:

Prisons: statement 2 incorrect (expressly- I don't think)
Gandhak: Only 1 kiya hai (would be unfair if this option is marked wrong, they at the least should then go for multiple answers)

Village (again only 1 kiya hai.......maybe wrong......but socha ki PESA se village & not cluster should be lowest)

Due process: fair application kiya hai (Natural justice is just too wide a concept, imo.....it means a lot of other things which due process doesn't.......yes due process takes some features from natural justice but then fair application of law also does so from natural justice.......just interchange due process with fair application in the question......then also some would say the meaning of fair application is natural justice)

End me Shayad 4on apne hi galat ho.......will take 10.68 marks hit.............. would be unfair......but then, kya hi kr sktey hain.............apni hi galti hai jo border pe hain...........

@Sangaideer squirrel, prison, migration pact imo....but who knows......

2.7k views
@Srinjay yes.

just open this official website & read 23 objectives: it clearly mentions local migrations........ don't know what is the issue...

3.2k views
@Srinjay  It seemed so obvious that didn't file it......the person setting the paper would obviously had to read every page of this pact to make sure that local migration is NOT included.......while this official page of the same pact explicitly talks about it in objectives (the question also specifically talks about the objectives).............A counter question to those who say "D".........where is it written that internal migration is not included?..........

3.1k views
@quasiwin the whole sentence reads objectives @ local, national, international & regional levels...............now pls tell what else does "local" mean here if not internal.................sharab peekr paper set kiya hai is baar......answer key bhi usi sharabi ne bnayi hongi tbhi D krega wo😂.....so..... possible.......

@Tejasjv I don't know what the final answer would be.......But IMO why would the paper setter ask about local migration not being included, unless the pact specifically says that local migration is out of bounds....why would he even think of this option then...........my counter question is, where is it written ANYWHERE on the net that local migration is NOT included?............why would this option strike him Unless there is some news or explicit mention of Exclusion of Internal migration.....

The official page says objectives include migration @ local, national, regional and international levels......I don't know what is the meaning of local here, then.......

Read this: (from official website)

Global Compact

The Global Compact for Migration is the first-ever UN global agreement on a common approach to international migration in all its dimensions. The global compact is non-legally binding. It is grounded in values of state sovereignty, responsibility-sharing, non-discrimination, and human rights, and recognizes that a cooperative approach is needed to optimize the overall benefits of migration, while addressing its risks and challenges for individuals and communities in countries of origin, transit and destination.

The global compact comprises 23 objectives for better managing migration at local, national, regional and global levels. The compact:

@Tejasjv I also want All 3 to be correct there...........In the exam I thought that finace bill has to be passed in 75 days thus JS becomes necessary............are you sure all 3 are correct?

2.9k views
@Tejasjv Financial bill to pkka hi hai .......just asking ki Joint sitting NECESSARY hai ki nhi.............I've marked all 3..........ye joint sitting being necessary ka koi acha explanation hai?

2.7k views
@Tejasjv  Yeah....but a little subjective here also......JS is recommended but NECESSARY.....?.......I may be mixing things up but paper me mainey socha ki finance bill 75 days me pass krna hai islye NECESSARY................

4.4k views
@Tejasjv ye sb theek hai.....lekin JS necessary?......B can also be right...?

4.2k views

@adi5manit330 But there is another thing. Finance bill HAS to be passed in 75 days..........so I guess JS is necessary if deadlock isn't solved till then.....

But maybe I am again mixing things up...........
