@Neyawn so if one does Ethics (GS4) and optional complete by December , and Few mains specific subjects in January, and then focus fully on Prelims from Feb onwards, will that be a good scenario? I mean manageable?

As far as I know, there are elections which happen at regular intervals right from local levels to provincial level, albeit within the one party system. 

As far as rule is concerned the CPC enjoys around more than 90% approval ratings. 

So based on these counts China should qualify as a democracy and thus the dilemma.

@AureliusM Maybe a guided democracy or democracy with Chinese features but not a free & fair democracy. Contrasting it with India which according to Amitabh Kant has too much democracy.
