Someone scored 197.33 in the test. How do I explain how that happens ? Because my parents are currently amazed and obsessed with the genius of this person.

Books and internet are always there for help during ONLINE Mock, sadly not during offline exam.

You don’t.

You just focus on doing well, not making simple / silly mistakes / getting basic questions wrong that could be gotten right from the book . Also if you don’t score well in a paper , try conquering the paper by the solving it after a few days, having prepared all the topics which you could not attempt or got wrong.

Paper wasn't easy, though at first glance it seems to be. Quality of question especially from polity section has improved as compared to last one.

How was the other's experience?

Tougher compared to 12th September test. Found very fact based. Options were carefully crafted and eliminating 1 statement did not give the answer straight away.

This paper was rather closer to what we can expect from UPSC in the actual exam. Fairly well-framed questions and decent difficulty level as well.
