CSE 2021: Plan / Strategy / Daily Routine

Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.

This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.

No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Decent day today. Was able to revise economy well. I did government schemes and gave a new test instead of analysing a previous one. It was a good decision considering that it helped me get over some post vision FLT trauma!

Targets:

  • Economy (4/6)
  • Test Analysis (1 test)
  • Schemes (If time permits)

The prelims fear has started to trickle in, one more month to go!

I had been procrastinating since a long while about getting vaccinated. I had been infected with COVID earlier so had to wait 3 months. Finally got that done today and I'm feeling a little dazed. Anyway, I'm going to keep things light now, these targets shift to tomorrow.

Hi doston I haven’t had good study days for the past 2 days, didn’t post last night because it felt depressing to recount all the portions I couldn’t manage to finish. And today my best friend came over for a little while in the afternoon, but uske baad padhne ka mann nahi kiya and wahi usual existential dread me padd gyi. Kal kuch toh acha hi hoga shayad, anything is better than today or the day before.

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, jitna you studied the day before yesterday, woh average insaan ka 2-3 din ka quota tha, so no net loss :P

Don’t dwell on it ab. Kal se fresh start :)

So we have a lot of secret visitors! I see. Post here sometimes, we might also know what's going up there in your life.

I have been having some problems in my health life recently. During the second wave I got a problem, it was some sort of allergy ya I don't know what where I suffered from blocked nose and fever. I had this for around 1 month, finally got relief through some medicines, which involved some nasal congestion removal sprays.

I have in the last two days suffering from the same thing. There is constant fever-low grade but its there which makes me tired and difficult to study. I don't know what will happen this time, but if something doesn't changes by tomarrow , I am going to clinic to solve this issue. I hope this gets better.

So still my targets remain same- complete all monthlies with notes. Lets see how tomarrow goes. Signing off!

Hey Guys !! Haven't been posting here because I am avoiding social interactions of any kind.. Haven't talked to a single friend in two weeks. And I plan to keep it the same way for the next 29 days as well..

Just dropping in a comment here to share something. The past 3 days have not been good mentally because of drama at home.. I am someone who just can not ignore certain things.. Today was the same.

. Post my evening walk, I was so done with the drama that I started crying thinking that I will never be able to get over my mind and its useless wandering on useless things.  I turned off the lights at 8 and thought I would go to sleep. Ofcourse, I wasn't sleepy. And then I thought. Who is the loser here? It's me.. If I sleep right now and waste time, who will suffer ??

Small dramas at home will keep on happening. That is the beauty of a middle class household.. But If I waste today, maybe I will end up wasting the entire year..  So I picked myself up and I was studying since then.  I am still not sleepy and I will study some more..

So today, Mood swings=0, me=1...

Each one of you who is having not so good days, pick urself up.. Resolve anything that is troubling you at the earliest - physical, mental, etc.  But just do what is needed.  Make every day count..

Ok bye :)

Today was a tough day and yet I'm happy with how I tackled it. Post vaccination side effects made me lose focus and efficiency but the urgency of prelims ensured I didn't slack off. Was able to revise Economy, will still need at least two more days. Economy took a lot of time so I changed my plans and went about revising Indices once I was done with it.

Targets:

  • Economy (5/6)
  • Test Analysis (1 test)
  • Attempt 1 Mock
  • Schemes/Indices (If time permits)

Just read through the thread, seeing all the people struggle and keep fighting made me remember some lines I keep visiting in my bad days.

JRR Tolkein, "Fellowship of the Ring"

“All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.”
