CSE 2021: Plan / Strategy / Daily Routine

Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.

This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.

No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Moderator Update: This thread has crossed 1 million views and has thousands of comments slowing down the website. We are closing this and moving to the next thread

Can't we get this thread pinned? I'm sure random this thread must be more important than random polls getting pinned.

11.6.21

finish post independence (yes, today’s that day)

PSIR- start the international organisations, lets see how far i manage to get

maybe AWP for PSIR (we’ll see how it goes)

IE editorial backlog

daily C/A

I managed to complete all my targets. This was day 3 of my being a “responsible adult who is on top of her stuff” streak. For someone who behaves like a child all the time and struggles to be an adult, this is a massive win, despite the fact that on most days I feel like three children and a dog hidden under a trench coat.

12.6.21 (I have started to view the “cool date” days with suspicion)

start world history (do jai at mandir, because it was a task and a half to complete post)

Psir- persist with organisations

IE editorial backlog

daily C/A

AWP for PSIR

writing with my right hand- 1 page (I’ve been trying to do this for a few days now for the lols, but I thought will add it here as well, so that it becomes a habit to practice daily)

Mine are ineffective too. Cold Turkey for Destop. App Blocker for Phone.

Bhai i have super idea for such type of problems! Surrender your phone to a someone who doesn't stay in your house like your neighbor with whom you have a good rapport and take back from them at the end of the day or lock it in a locker and hand over the keys to your parents ..!

Hello hai ji,

What a Saffola Lite day! Could wind up all targets by early evening. For someone, who was lost in the chaos until early this year with inexplicable fear, insurmountable self doubts and severe anxiety, these small steps mean A LOT! Ended up relishing a giant Blue Lays packet and cooking some pasta for dinner while Mussarat Nazir played in the background with coincidently strong words, "chale toh katt hee jayega safar aahista, aahista."

Its never too late to pick up the scattered pieces and start afresh! :)
