Last year my score was around 130. Wrote ifos mains as well. This year 85-94 according to keys. Very bleak chances to clear as luck never favoured me in this upsc journey 😐

@saurabher43267 I had similar thinking till last year. But a lot has changed since last year, now i have come to terms with the fact that something's needs unexplained and unexpected fortune too, its a very important part of process, and unfortunately it's not in your hands. So its better not to take it very seriously, rather there's a need to focus on other social things

Did not find as such. Elimination techniques developed for last 3,4 years were not worked. History questions both modern and ancient were not from conventional sources. Culture questions were completely absent which is my strong hold. Made couple of silly mistakes (this also happened last year but as score was high It didn’t bother much)

@saurabher43267 i was having teatime conversation with my father last month. He told me avery beautiful thing which I am proud of, he said, you have become a better and much informed individual for your age, while my colleagues children of your age are busy in their jobs and earning well but all they have become is a pay package. They are reduced to individuals with a tag of say 10, 15 lacs package and nothing more than that.I am proud of you that you are different, even though you don't earn now, but that's still fine, because eventually you will. I have never seen any educated and well formed 30 year old man not earning..So even if I don't clear it, i think i have received my samadhan..
You are lucky...not all parents are such..some curse their wards for being reduced to being in this “non productive” field...and make the guy/girl look dejected and miserable

Rambo93,@Aurang_mirasudar my father himself couldn't clear CSE. So he understands how we feel.. i am lucky that ways atleast.
In my case..its opposite especially with moms...but learnt to deal n adjust..

Thats a big deal .Most of the people get into severe depression,suicidal thoughts when they fail mostly cause of breaking parental expectations and emotional blackmail.you were blessed in that part.
