[ Official ] How was the Prelims 2021 paper?

If the Bacteria, Fungi, Virus question's answer includes Virus too, I will come to the conclusion that there is no point in studying for upsc anymore. When we solve those questions in exam, we rely on common knowledge and common sense not on some obscure research paper. 

It's easy to later search the internet and go through books and coming up with data and facts and what not to justify one's answer but the fact remains that if anyone included Virus in his answer, it was by fluke and not due to some concept he knew and for sure not because he remembered a research paper he read in some journal. I am sure UPSC doesn't set papers like that. 

The same goes for questions like Arcot. If somehow UPSC's answer key includes in its answer that Arcot emerged out of Hyderabad state, what is the point of studying Shekhar Bandyopadhya for 5 times and cramming in every nook and corner of that book? Where despite applying all your common sense the answer turns out incorrect? 

No use of posting no tolerance towards what others say.

Will try to imbibe some common sense 🤣🤣🤣will study school level biology again
